By the way, this is the interview with Jim Wallis that I mentioned in one of the discussions, where he discusses a sense of proportion as to the discussion of homosexuality (versus other injunctions) in Christian theology. And those interested in kids’ literature might want to read this essay by Ursula K. Le Guin, titled “The Child and the Shadow,” where she discusses the importance of fantasy, of fairy tales, and of honesty in telling stories to kids. (Note that the pages are backwards in the Le Guin essay: print it out and then reverse the order of the pages if you want to read it more easily!)
