GORD! GORD! GORD! Now, there are many people in my campus life like friends, assistants, president, professors, and so on. Today let me introduce my professor Gord. I think it is really difficult, but I’ll try to write. I am going to talk about his appearance, personality, and teaching style. First I feel friendly towards his appearance. I think it is because his image is round, so we can get near to him more easily. In result, many students like him and his appearance. He put on glasses, sometimes he put off them for cleaning the glasses. That time, I think he is becoming it and I have felt friendly other reasons, it is just his beard. I feel as if he is soft Santa Claus. His hair style and beard is short, considering. As a result, although he has a beard, he always looks clean. And he is wearing pant I haven’t seen wear T-shirt. Sometimes I imagine he wear T- shirt. Actually I think T-shirt will be a good match. Also he has always the black’s document bag which looks like heavy. Maybe in his bag, I think there are many documents for our class. Next, I’ll tell you about his character but I don’t know about him. However I’m sure! He has many passions. He is always powerful professor. So his class is activity. He is keen on teaching.  Finally, I’ll tell you about his teaching style. His teaching style has various ways. He doesn’t use same way. Also his lectures are systematic. He gives us comment about our essay. In fact, I was charmed. Also he doesn’t compel us to speak correctly. So students have interest in his class. I have bad sight, so I have put on glasses since I was a middle school student. Now, I hate my glasses and feel inconvenience. I want to live without my glasses. However, I can’t wear contact lenses. Because if I wear contact lenses, they always came out my eyes or I feel a pain with soreness. So sometimes I just wear one-day contact lenses. As a result, I determined LASIK and want LASIK but my parents are against my LASIK. So I always put on glasses which are very inconvenience and heavy. In addition I feel sick especially ears and nose if I sleep with wearing my glasses. Also I don’t want my glasses when I must make-up although I don’t like make up. This is really my agony. How do you think about LASIC? Is it a good or bad? If you are already LASIC, could you tell me about it? I’ll seriously thinking about it. Some people recommended about hard lenses, but I’m afraid of hard lens because it feels a pain until fitness period. My eyes are already weak because of my contact lenses, so I would like to protect my eyes. Anyway I wonder your opinion, please.

When I was high school student, I couldn’t understand why I study literary works. Also I didn’t know literary works is important our life and I can earn life’s wisdom through literary works. On the other hand I can understand its important these days, and I’m going to study French literature. Also I thought I may like literary works. However until now I don’t know about this fact. We can know various situations through literary works in those days. (ex: History, attractions, environment.) Although they are difficult, if you read, understand and admit author’s thinking, it may become your thinking and life’s guide. Like this, good literary works may change your life. I learned “thinking reed” of Pascal. When I learned this work, my mind was too full. I learned the dignity of man, and we must constant learning and growth, so I thought my future and my valuable life.  Now I would like to grow through literary works. Therefore, literary works are really important for our life.

I live in Hanam city. Hanam is near Misarie, which has many crab’s stores. So maybe it is cheaper than other countries. I invited my university friends last week, so we had a good crab party. A crab cook is simple, but it is really delicious. It just boils in a steamer. Its cook is finish. Also if you eat after you mix boiled rice with soy sauce and crab meat, it is really delicious. This was really happy party. After crab party was finish, we have a good night. We talked about our life and went to fomentation room. We often enjoy like this time, so life is really happy.

Do you know about a weekend farm? Or, have you heard about a weekend farm? Actually I worried about this word. (A weekend farm is popular in Korea these days, so it may Konglish.) Anyway, many people have their farm because of their hobby or pleasure. However I’m not happy. It is a small farm near Seoul, nowadays my parents work at farm over the weekend. They said it is good job. However, after they do farming, they used to poultice their shoulder and waist. It is really bad point. They always force me about labor’s pleasure, and want to go there with them. But I don’t want labor. Never! Never! However, it was short-handed, so I went last week. First when I stoop to do work, it was really difficult. So I was really angry. However I felt refresh and it was good smell and air. Although labor was really hard, it was good weekend. There are various farm produces. For example, red peppers, eggplants, sweet potatoes, cucumbers and so on. We expect especially sweet potato’s harvest. If you have sweet potato’s diet plan, call me. I’ll divide for you in this autumn. *^^*

Last week, I visited the Seoul tower with my friends who climbed Seoul Tower to get a night view of the capital city of Seoul. Actually, I went there many times, and it was always good. Especially I like beautiful Seoul’s night view which makes me happy. Although I had trouble in climbing, after I get to the summit I felt refreshed. I climbed Seoul tower after a long interval, which was changed. I found new facility and interior and so on. I think it is good rest area. Also I drank some beer and saw beautiful night view. It was really cool. We talked about our university life and take a photograph with Seoul tower in the background. Maybe I can’t forget the day’s night view which was really good experience.

Last Tuesday, there were presentations in English language and culture department and there were speaking contests in French language and culture department. Now I’m going to study both majors, so I saw each presentation. These were different presentations but it was really good experience. Students prepared their contests and I also learned their speaking ability. So I was under impetus from these contests, I determine I’ll try to study English and French. I think it is really important both students and me. We must take part in these contests as many as possible. Although I don’t take part in contests, it is good experiences to me. I also think about my presentation’s method and attitude.

Now, many universities are festival period which is the same in my university. In fact, I’m really happy because I have no lecture.(^^) My mind become lighthearted, so I’m worry about my study. However, I am feeling, not bad!! Yesterday was second day. After I had eat dinner, I dropped in my major’s bar and enjoyed have a good time. This was a last festival to me because I’m a senior, so I feel queer. So I would like to participate. I was really interesting. Also these days, it is good weather and my mind becomes lighthearted. These days, I have new habit. That is I used to forget my work. For example, my doing assignment or study, promise with my friend, and so on. I even forget what I do now… I used to experience. I think now I’m busy, so there are many works. As a result, I don’t remember many things. So I used to write my works and assignments in my post it nowadays. I write my works everyday. After I finish my works, I discard my papers. First I disappoint myself but it is good way because I never forget my work. Although I can’t exactly say this situation, sometimes I think I advance in age more and more. I know it is sad, but I admit this situation and then I find my new way. However I lost my file in a subway yesterday which is really important to me because there are many documents. I try to find my file, but I can’t. I must have more tension, so I reflect on my conduct.

Today is the Parents´ Day. I believe you really know about the Parents´ Day although I don’t explain that to you. But if I explain it to you, I can say, today we must think debt to out parents and we can also give a gift or a bunch of flowers like a carnation. Or we can help them, for example, washing, cleaning, and cooking and so on. Above all we can also remember parents’ mind and love, in fact we often forget about their love. So we can express directly our mind through this day.   But these days, I don’t live with my parents because I live close to my university. So I can’t go my parents, give flowers and present today. I am distressing. Until now, I have always lived my parents, so I haven’t felt like this. However I think like this suddenly. Now I may have a good Parents’ day. I might have the Parents’ day in the past which was just dry thanks. But today I think and miss my parents earnestly. Today I’m going to pray for them and call my parents and I’ll say “Thank you and I really love you!” Now I feel more comfortable than other parents’ days. Today I hope you also think, prey about your parents, and you have a significant day.
