To whom it may concern.

Please find attached my resume, submitted for your consideration for the position of Clerk, advertised on the Legal Matters website on December 9th, 2007.

The Silvo and Smith Legal Counsel is one of the most famous companies in terms of the family law. I believe I have a great deal to offer you. As a recent graduage of law school, I am much up-to-date with curren issues and trends in case law, especially with cases of family affairs. I am young and energetic, and would very much love a chance to work with respected, well-known attorneys such as yourselves.

While this would be my first time working as a clerk, I have a great deal of experience working wiht people, and my experience as a volunteer for one year in Guatemala as a development assistant taught me the value of teamwork, coordination, and leadership. As a two-time President of the Student Law Association at my alma master, Smith University, I have experience as a leader.

I have also taken care of my family during studying at the university. Therefore, I understand what family affairs are and obstacles that family commonly have. As a family man, I am very familiar with responsibility, and very much willing to give you my all. I believe that we can both benefit from my working at your firm: I will begin my career in the famous legal company, and you will benefit from my vast and unorthodox experience and considable motivation.

If you would like to contact me for more information, or to set up and interview at your earliest convenience, please do not hesitate to contact me using the information provided  above. I look forward to hearing back from you!

Sincerely,

Jimmy Tobland
