Coca-Cola was invented in 1886 by Atlanta pharmacist John S. Pemberton. The name for the product was actually proposed by Pemberton’s assistant, Frank Robinson. Th name was taken from the two most ynusual ingredients in the drink, the South Ameriacn coca leaf and Africa cola nut. The recipe for today’s Coca-Cola is very well guarded. Many of the ingredients are known ; in addition to coca leaves and cola nut, they include lemon, orange, lime, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, caramel, and sugar.

By lowering levels of estrogen in men and women , smoking speeds bone loss. If a woman smokes a pack of cigarettes every day, she’ll enter menopause with 5 to 10% less bone mass than a nonsmoker. In men, in the same way smoking clogs cardiac vessels. The good news is that no matter what your age or how long you’ve smoked, you’ll live longer if you quit today.

 Calcium, the body’s most abundant mineral, plays a critical role in bone health, but it does much more than that. Calcium permits cells to divide, regulates muscle contraction and relaxation. keeps the heart beating and the brain working, plays an important role in the movement of protein and nutrients inside cells, helps control blood pressure, and is essential for blood clothing. Calcium also seems to protect against heart attacks and certain types of cancers.

 There are few things that make us feel so warm inside as a sincere compliment from someone whom we respect. Unfortunately, many people are concerned only with their own welfare. That drives them to appear very cold and uncaring. It’s clear that people who love living and others get more out of life than those who worry only about themselves. And these loving people always have more friends. My point here is to think more of others. They will take far better care of you than you can.

People often lie. why? There are several reasons. First, they want to hide somthing from someone. For example, a son doesn’t tell his parents that he’s datinga girl because he doesn’t think they will like her. Instead, he says he’s he’s going out with the guys. Second, people lie because they don’t want to do something. For instance, someone invites you to a party. You think it will be boring, so you say you are busy. Finally, people often lie because they don’t want to tell someone bad news. For example, you have just had a very bad day at work, but you don’t feel like talking about it. So if someone asks you about your day, you just say that everything was fine.

Do you know a Kimchi museum in seoul? The museum was founded in 1986 to highlight Korea’s rich Kimchi culture. The exhabit includes displays of cooking utensils and materials related to making, storing, and eating the famous pickled vegetables. The museum also provides details about  the history and nutritional benifits of Korea’s most beloved side dish. If you don’t know about Kimchi, you’d better go to the Kimchi museum.

Did you see a football game last night? The game was Korea VS Bosnia. I was happy, because Korean team won. The score was 2:0. ^_^ It’s not long before the 2006 World Cup . I expect the Korean team will play as good as the did in the 2002 World Cup. Korean team fighting!!

Teenagers’ smoking is very serious the whole world. Smoking beginning age has become low gradually in recent years. Do you know why young people’s smoking is very harmful than adult’s smoking. Because, smoking give rise to some disease and cancer. Specially, damage of young people is higher 3times than adult smoker . Therefore our society should be encouraged stop smoking to tennagers.

A few years ago, I saw a movie. The movie’s name was Harry Potter. It’s a fantasy about Harry’s adventure. At first, I was disappointed, because this movie didn’t match original story. But, It was very interesting , because I usually like fantasy movies. I also liked miraculous magic and special effects in this movie. Anyway, Harry Potter is my favorite movie.

Do you know bullfrog? Bullfrog is not good. Why is bullfrog bad? First, bullfrogs are very noise, because they cry loudly. For example, whenever they cry. They even cry at night. Second, they eat everything. For instance, they even eat big animals. So, bullfrogs destroy ecosystem. Also, they don’t have natural enemy. Finally, they are so prolific, so they are immortal. 

One of my friends is very luxurious , because she like self – display.  Because she is also selfish, she pay no attention to other people´s feelings. I don’t like her, so I avoid her.

A few days ago, I attended a party. Many people was wearing diamonds, because they wanted to show off their riches. After almost people arrived, animals’ show started. A few minutes after, a tiger attacks people suddenly. Because a tiger was very sick and angry. A tiger has suffered from malaria. (Malaria is very dangerous, because malaria spreads easily) Anyway, people wanted to control this situation. But they failed, because other animal started attack to people. That was a lion. After all, that party was messed.

Many people think. Early studying abroad is not good. But,  I think early studying abroad has some positive sides. Because, if children are sent abroad at an early age, they will , by coming in contact with foreign people and their customs and manners, abtain a broader view of life.

Concentration is very important. Because, concetration makes work better. Learn to concentrate as early in life as possible. Concentration is the ability to keep your thoughts and attention on one fact until you know it thoroughly. It is a habit that you must possess if you are really to succeed.

Jung-eun’s sister is unusual. Because her sister cling to diet. For example, she always never eat food after 6 o’ clock p.m. Also, although she weight 45kg, she still isn’t satisfied and she take exercise every day.

In Korea, this place has become increasingly popular in recent years. There has public bath, sauna, restaurant, cafe, various rest place. Also, this place is usually crowded with people in weekend or holiday. Maybe, you will go to this place frequently. do you know?

About watching video. First, lend the a video tape from video tape rent store. Next, turn on the TV and the VTR. Then, load the video tape into the VTR. Finally, start the tape.

Material

Kimchi as much as you want. Pork as much as you want. Salt. Garlic little bit.

Methods
First, cut kimchi and pork for suitable size. Second, fry pork and garlic little bit with olive oil. Third, put water in the pot. Next, put kimchi ,pork and garlic in the pot. Finally, boil them and put salt little bit .

Rice is good for your health. There are many reasons.

First, rice is good for prevention of constipation. Because, the high fiber content in the rice, one can defecate more easily after eating them. Second, rice is good for antiaging by vitamin. Finally, rice abundant source of energy becuase of fat.

As a result, eating rice is very good.

Most korean people will be like rice. Bacause rice is main food of Korea from a long time ago. Also, Korean people don’t live without rice. They usually take not meal without rice. Especially, when they are abroad , they search for rice. Even if they like bread or other food. As a result, Korean people and rice are bound up each other.

Yesterday was April Fools´ Day. Did you lie yesterday? I didn’t lie , but I was taken in the lie of my friends. T.T  Anyway, there is memories to me about April Fools’ Day. When I was high shcool student, our school students tricked teachers in April Fools’ Day. all the students changed classroom with other class, or missed a class. Teachers always used to very upset. Looking back upon, that was very funed. And I miss that time. How about you?

Foreign language study is very difficult. I think it especailly hard to coversation with foreigner. I have gotten a chance to talk with foreigner when I went to japan last month. Despite easy question, I wasn’t able to reply. Because I just got worried when I met them. I always don’t speak with the tension when I meet foreigners. I don’t know why. I want to talk with a foreigner very well.

Have you ever visited a fortune teller? I have talked to fortune teller when I was highschool student. At that time, I asked to fortune teller about my love fortune. The result was bad. He said ‘In your life, you won’t fall deeply in love ‘ oh!! my god!!! I got a shock. But, I didn’t believe that.  And I haven’t been believing until now.

Many people like fortune. Also, they believe in fortune. However, I think it is not good that people fanaticize fortune. Because that is can interfere with their life.

What do you think about this?

Did you drinking? How many? Bad happenings can happen to you after drinking. For example, car accident can happen to you , when you get dead-drunk. Also, time-wasting and money-wasting aren’t other person’s story. Maybe, you’ll be wasting your time and money because of alcohol, when you don’t recognize. Be careful!! And be careful!!

I was looking foward to win of korean baseball team  until yesterday. But..In the today daytime, korean baseball team was defeated japan team. T.T  I’m very sad about this result. But, Korea team was very wonderful. Isn’t it? By the way,I went to Hong-ik university for my friend’s birthday party yesterday. In bennigans(bennigans is family restaurant), my friend and me had various foods for dinner . oh!  the main guest(?) of birthday party is this class student. Her name is mi-yeon. hahaha Anyway, mi-yeon!! happy birthday to you once again ~

Hello!!Everyone and Mr.Gord~ Nice to meet you. My name is ju-hyeong kim and I’m sophomore. Oh! Did you see the baseball game on Thursday? Wow~! The game was korea vs japan. Very nice game!! I was very surprised. I don’t know that korean team does baseball game very well.  I’m so proud of Korean team. I look forward to win. Fighting!!! (P.S : Yesterday, there was english language and culture orientation.)I was very impressive when Mr.Gord said. He said, “I’m lonely , I’m alone” Ha ha ha – He was very fun!!
