Elementary Composition – Night

 Thesedays I became a lazy student. If teacher give some assignments, I always do them at the day before deadline-day. Of course, I know this is not good. So I tried to start my assignments in advance. But repairing my habit is not easy. Moreover I wake up too late on nowadays. I usually go to bed after I do homework and prepare next quiz. Yesterday I went to bed at 6am. By the way, when I woke up in this morning, it was nearly time for lunch! I felt despondency then. What can I do for myself?

 Today is my payday. As I have already told many times, I have a part-time job. Actually, 10th of every month is payday. But tomorrow is Saturday. So I receive my salary before one day, because the banks of Korea are not opened. Even though I’m so tired, only thinking about my pays is happy thing. I would like to do a lot. However, if I spend my pays freely, before long I will regret obviously. Therefore, I will make a plan to save money and spend it. Ah~ I feel so good now!

 On my way to come home, I just experienced outrageous situation. I studied with my friend in the library, and I was comimg home a little bit late than other days. I got off a subway, and I was walking to my home. By the way, one man who looked like about 35 years old called me. I wondered why he had called me. Suddenly, he said like this “Would you some drink beer together?” That is not tea, but beer… Moreover, he seemed my uncle by ascent! That moment I was at a loss what to do. So I answered I have to go home quickly, because I have many reports. And I walked and walked. However, he followed me continually, talking about him. I was so scared. I have ever met that person directly. Anyway I was nervous, but I had courage and said. ” I’m sorry, but I really have to go quickly, so why don’t you find another person?” After all he was gone, so I had a lucky escape. But I would like to scream then. Next time, I will come home early. Let’s go home earlier!

 When my university newspapers issued, I sometimes read it in the subway. Today as I leave my school, I found my university newspapers. And I began to read it on my way to home in the sybway. There were many interesting asticles. One of those was most interesting to me, because it was written by professor of my department. So I could feel pleasant during that time. Why don’t you read it?

 Today I went O.B.F. with my friend, in order to get visitation ticket. The O.B.F. is English cafe in our university. On entering there, we have to speak in English. To tell the truth, at first we needed visitation tickets for our English conversation class. But now we know visiting is enjoyable, because we can feel interesting. So my friend and I enjoy going that cafe. By the way, I have a problem. That is to say, I would like to speak in English, but I can’t speak in English well. Whenever to do so, I’m very stuffy. Of course, in my foreigner professor’s class, I have difficulty in understanding that class completely. When I just see anyone who speaks in English fluently, I’m really envious that person. What can I do for myself?

 Today I received SMS from my old friend. Because I had put my cell phone at home, after my part-time job I could see that message. She is my middle school friend. After middle school graduation, we have never seen each other. But we have been getting in touch with each other occasionally. Anyway that message’s content was that she bought a new cell phone, and she wants to get in touch with me frequently. I was glad to see that messge, so I sent a reply messge like this. “Long time no see. How are you?” On doing, I received reply message immediately. It seems that friend is always glad being. Please, send a message your old friend.

 I have worked part-time job for ten months in family restaurant. My younger sister takes part-time job in Pizzahut, and my brother does in Mcdonald’s. We have worked to obtain some pocket money. Of course, I have part-time job at the same time, to study is not easy. Therefore, I can’t sometimes do homework, because of fatigue. On the other hand, taking part-time job has some merit. First, we can get various coupons from each store. For example, my sister acquires 50% discount coupon every months. Next, we can manage own budget. Actually, I have an installment deposit, and I manage my living expenses. Finally, we can experience social life earlier. To tell the truth, whenever I was scold my boss, I would like to cry, but I bore patiently. However, I made many friends and good people. For these reasons, I like my part-time job. Why don’t you have a that?

 I hate a rat (or mouse) for several reasons. The first reason is appearance. Rat’s gray color looks dirty, and its tail is disgusting. So I dislike just to see them. The second reason is speed. Rats are very fast, so we can’t catch them easily. Of course, recently, a game is called ”Let’s mouse.” is much in vogue with the young. But actually they are too fast to catch them. The final reason is uncleanness. Because they live in dirty places like wastebasket and gutter, they can cause many diseases. Even they can bite people. So it’s hard to like them. 

 I visited my friend’s university yesterday. I have never gone other university, except when I was high school student once. Because of that, I really wondered there. Especially, I was supposed to meet my best friend, so I felt good. At first I took a subway, and I wasn’t accustomed to going strange places, so I had to transfer subway twice. Moreover, on getting off subway, I had to ride a bus, and after all, I was late. I was sorry for coming so late, but my friend gave me joyous welcome. After we had a lunch, we saw together her university in everywhere. There were many huge buildings than my expectation. Even though it didn’t work, there was enormous fountain. To tell the truth, there was university where my father graduate. My father was always proud of his old school, and now I can know that reason. Because my friend had next class, I couldn’t help leaving there quickly. On the way come home, I thought I hope to see there again sooner or later.

 I had a strange dream yesterday. I went new place. At first, I was walking with my friend. By the way, some strange people told us we must be caful tigers in there. They said tiger attacks people unconditionally. My friend and I were afraid of them, so we walked step by step. Suddenly, huge thing jumped out to us. We were surprised, so we couldn’t move more with ours eyes wide open. It was not a tiger. It was a lion. Surprisingly, the lion spoke English well. Even though we did’t understand his speaking, he seemed good, so we followed him. After for a while, we arrived one town. Most people wore diamonds, but they were crying. The lion we took told us, malaria spreads easily in here, so they suffered from malarial. We decided to care of them, because, fortunately, my friend is nursing school student. When we just treat one boy, I woke from asleep. I think that was really strange dream. 

 I have a real friend. Her name is Yu-sun. I met her when I was high school student. As I was second grade, I was same class with her. Even though we met for the first time, we were familiar with each other soon, because her environment was similar with mine. So we always passed time together. Surprisingly, she had many point of sameness with me such as hobby, taste, situation, so I did like her then. However, after graduation, we couldn’t often meet than before, because I entered university but she began to study again for her goal. But I still feel happy when I sometimes meet her. So I recognized whenever I like her for no reasons, because we are likeminded company. Now she is university student, too. I’m supposed to meet her tomorrow. So I feel happy now. I like her who is warm-hearted.

My classmate had a friend who was very strange in high school. I heard she behaverd unusually. For example, she always brought lunch and dinner from home, even though other friends used cafeteria in dinner. She had unusual thinking. For instance, if any teacher explain about something, she asked strange questions. Because of that case, her friends said like this. “You will become a great copyright.” But it’s true that her action is strange. She often talked with unfamiliar friends. For example, she was going coeducational school, and she often talked with boys, though she wasn’t on good terms with them. In conclusion, it seems that my classmate met really strange friend in high school.

 You can find this place easily. Sometimes, you need this place, especially, when you are sick. You can be given some medication in there. Moreover, you can buy something you need such as vitamin, bandage, antiseptic… Also, you counsel with master about your symptom in there. Even though you aren’t sick, you sometimes are supposed to go there. Where is this place? Guess there!

 I have volunteered for 2 months. In my university, if student volunteer for one semester, he or she can be admitted two points in that semester. So I applied that subject in this semester because I have wanted to volunteer a long time ago. Therefore, I go to welfare facilities are located in near my town to volunteer every Tuesday.

 In last tuesday, I went to eyesight-handicapped welfare facilities to volunteer at 1 pm. I always type some materials or scan some books in there. That is to say, I help some people who make braille books. As soon as I arrived, I thought I would do until now. But that day was differ. The teacher in charge told me, “we have to show the way for blind persons on today.” The weather of that day was bad, but my heart was overflowing with expectation. Because I had never volunteered in person. And I didn’t know 20th was handicapped person’s day. So event was holding in a public square. We guided eyesight-handicapped people to there. On the way, I had a dialogue with my partner. She was younger than others and seemed that she had warm-hearted, so I was pleased all the time. As coming home, I hoped to have that experience again. Volunteering is cheerful thing!

First, find information. We can often see a help-wanted advertisement in everywhere. For example, searching internet or visiting wherever…and so on.

Second, choose some of many things, and immediately call or visit there. Most important thing is speed. No matter how have a lot of informations, if you can’t touch with there, you won’t succeed. When you speak about your experience, you will be honest.

Then, you have to wait until your phone ring. Fortunately, if you answer the phone, you have to prepare an interview. You need ‘neat’ first impression.

Finally, have confidence!! If you do so, you will succeed surely!! 

 To tell the truth, if you want to have part time job eagerly, you will get soon!!

First, prepare some anchovies, tangles, a radish, and you have to boil them for 40 minutes. You had better boil during long time.

Second, you have to pour only their soup, and they are supposed to put in into another pot. Then, take in rice cake and dumplings in there.

Next, if dumpling rise to the surface of water, you have to put out.

Finally, you have to garnish with eggroll, laver and chopped green onion.

 Koreans have enjoyed various tea from past to present. Specially, nowadays people like taking green tea in Korea. Because we can always get green tea easily. So green tea is very popular in Korea. Many people who like green tea are different such as adults, teenagers and some kids. Also, they take green tea in different places, for example, in the streets, at home, in office, in school, and so on… As various as that place, taking tea time is not regular. Whenever they want, they can take green tea. Therefore, popularity of green tea is increasing in Korea.

I eat rice daily because I’m Korean and rice is main food in Korea. So I eat rice today, too. Rice makes me more powerful. In my case, if I don’t eat rice, I will be weak, and I will dislike doing everything all day long. Sometimes, when I have no time or friend who is supposed to have rice with me, I can’t have rice. When I skip a meal like that, I feel pitiful myself.

Have you ever skipped meals during a day? I don’t feel like imagining that. Therefore, having rice is important for me and you…

I’m happy when I hear the following sounds. Let’s have rice! kkk…

People have eaten rice from past to present in Korea. In former times, our ancesters cooked rice with big iron pot. So they ate rice porridge or cooked rice mostly. Sometimes, they used to make rice cake and eat it. But now, people use an electric rice cooker. It’s convenient whoever cooks rice, and it mainly helps to cook rice. In a national holiday, people are likely to make rice cake, and they eat it with neighbors. Moreover, in thesedays, cookies are made of rice are out in the streets. In after a while, rice will change more various!!

Today I went to the university, because I had to prepare presentation in english-reading class the next day. I have never gone university on sunday. So I felt strange a liitle bit. On my way to university, I received a SMS from my friend who is likely to be late about 30minutes. And I walked to my destination leisurely. Even though weather was so cool, I felt fresh and I could sing alone. Anyway, I arrived at my destinationㅡlibraryㅡand waited my party, as searching the internet. Surprisingly, though today was sunday, there were many students in library. Moreover, I saw my classmate. My heart was overflowing with expectation. Just, I like that view. Before long, I met my parties, and we started to prepare our presentation. By the time early evening, we could finished our preparation. On my way to home, I had dinner with my parties. Today is tired sunday, but I had a nice day~

In this afternoon, I had lunch in cafeteria, and I went library with my friend. Because I have some books that have to be returned. As soon as I put borrowed books on the desk in order to return, the worker checked the books, and said to me like this. “Give me arrearage.” I wondered that reason, because I prolonged borrow-period surely at the day before yesterday. Therefore, primarily, I should have returned my borrowed books yesterday, but I could return my borrowed books up to 8 April. So I thought that reason is strange, but I couldn’t help paying arrearage charge and turning out. Before my last class, I had some spare time, so I investigated my prolonged-record through internet. They were existing there! I prolonged my borrow period exactly!! I still have one book that I have to return. In this situation, I perhaps have to pay arrearage charge about my borrowed book soon. I don’t know which thing is right. It’s not important that I have to pay the fine. I just wonder which is all right.

I have two sisters. One of them is older than me. I have already written little about her. Actually, she lives in my hometown with my grandmother. But nowadays she lives in Seoul with me. Because she became a intern-journalist of newspaper company that located in Seoul. So she is in my house thesedays. She is diligent and honest. As living with me, she washes the dishes, launders clothes and prepares the table instead of me. However, if she sometimes get angry, I scared her. But she is both my best friend and my mentor in thesedays. First of all, she is apparently my mother.

Drinking a glass of alcohol per day is useful to person’s health. That means drinking is not always bad. Once you drink alcohol, you can feel good and be comfortable. And alcohol element helps the circulation of the blood. Moreover, alcohol can dissolve fat and help activation of the body. However, if you much more drink, it’ll be can poison. And it can spoil not only you but also people around you. Therefore, drinking of proper amount is all right but you don’t have to drink much more. That is, what is most important thing we have to know exactly is not quality or price of alcohol but proper amount of alcohol like a glass in each day.

Hi~ I’m in library now. Because my English & literature class was canceled. So I came in here to spend my free time. By the way as I looking over this cite, I could find comments in my last post. I deeply appreciate those people who wrote comment to my post!! And I saw a gord’s notice. I’m sorry to hear that news. I’ll had better change class time on monday. Ah! Suddenly I remember what I should do. I have to borrow books because I made a promise my sister at last night. She likes reading something so she wants to read many books. I must keep that promise. And see U class time~

Hi~ I just finished my part-time job and came back home now.Today I made a mistake on duty. So I was ashamed then. And I thought I was foolish. But I finished my job earlier than other days. I feel so good~and  I’m so tired now.I have to wake up early tomorrow morning… I’m worried about that. Because I slept yesterday at 4 am. Anyway, I’m ssoooo tired today. How were you today? ‘ㅡ’

Hi!! Everyone~ Nice to meet U. I’m Lee Jung-myung. My name seems man’s name but I’m a woman;; And I’m sophomore.

The day before yesterday, I resistered in this site. But I didn’t know how to write. So I took only a comment that day.^^; But I can write post now. So I feel good~ And now, I have one problem that can’t fix post or comment I write in this site. I’m scared about this. But I’ll be interested in this writing.

Today I attended Language & Culture Department Orientation. There are many students and professors. Of course, our professor Gord, too. That orientation was went on in English. So I couldn’t understand well, but this is obvious. From now on, graduating is not easy. And I have to take presentation in english in next year.

So I and my friends may be absent from school. And then I may have to study hard more.

Anyway, I think day by day is important. I’ll have my mind. The harder graduate criterion, I’ll be a hard student.
