Yellow Dust
Along with the pleasant spring weather comes an unwelcome quest,the yellow dust.
The yellow dust ,which originates in the Gobi Desert region of china, picks up heavy metals and carcinogens such as dioxin as it passes over Chinese industrial regions, before hitting the Korean Peninsula and Japan, meteorologists say.
The yellow dust comes to Korea nearly every spring,but the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts it will occur more frequently this year.
Weather authorities issued a yellow dust warning and called for precautions against eye and respiratory diseases.
