Why do I study literary works?

When I was high school student, I couldn’t understand why I study literary works. Also I didn’t know literary works is important our life and I can earn life’s wisdom through literary works.

On the other hand I can understand its important these days, and I’m going to study French literature. Also I thought I may like literary works. However until now I don’t know about this fact. We can know various situations through literary works in those days. (ex: History, attractions, environment.) Although they are difficult, if you read, understand and admit author’s thinking, it may become your thinking and life’s guide. Like this, good literary works may change your life. I learned “thinking reed” of Pascal. When I learned this work, my mind was too full. I learned the dignity of man, and we must constant learning and growth, so I thought my future and my valuable life.

 Now I would like to grow through literary works. Therefore, literary works are really important for our life.
