My Silly Experience
Hi. My name is Yongjoo. I’m very happy to take this course with our classmate. I ‘m going to tell you my first post about silly experince today. At morning, I got up latest in our family. Mother is usually at home, but when I get up, she was not at home. I left home for going to school, after I did prepare and eat breakfast. House is apartment, nineteenth floor, I have to wait a minute. I locked door, and was waiting elevator, I cannot remember that I closed gas valve, or not. 13th floor, 14th, 15th, I have to choose that I open the door and check the valve, or just take elevator. When elevator through 17th floor, finally I opened the door and check it. Elevator closed and went down already while I come out the house. I waited long one minute.
After that, I reached at bus stop, and wait for the bus arrive. When bus arrived, I find my wallet in the bag. However, it isn’t in the bag! The bus went to next stop, and I went home. It is on my desk. Fortunately, I did not late first class, but I spent. I hope you check gas valve and wallet when you leave home.

Yes, I had same experience. I sometimes forget to trun off the gas valve. Fruther I put a pot on the gas, I went shopping. So I almost set fire to my apartment. And I always go down and up in an elevator twice for checking the front door. It’s a serious problem of me.
It often happens to me. I even left whole bag on my desk!
Oh, I used to have this problem a lot, too. I would forget things all the time, and once I left a teapot on the stove all night long, and woke up to a smoke-filled apartment. (But there was no fire, thank goodness!)
I found that I usually did this when I was distracted, not paying attention, or tired. So now I sleep properly, pay attention when I turn off the gas on a stove, and always carefully pay attention to myself doing it so that I can remember having done it. It’s a bit tough to get into the habit of paying attention to what one is doing when one wants to make sure one has done it right, but anyway, it’s a useful trick!
