Serious problem of copycat crimes
I think the copycat crime is a serious problem of Korea now. There are some bad people who commit a crime taking a leaf from the movie’s M.O.(modus operandi). I used to worry about this problem whenever I saw crime movies, but I didn’t expect someone would actually do that. However, unfortunately it happens in Korea now for real.
Do you know the movie ‘Enemy of the Public’ ? I saw it several years ago, and I remember that was really cruel. It was a story about one outrageous murderer who commit murder without provocation, and he even killed his own parents. His killing method was too atrocious to look at, so it was a great shock to me that there was a murder those M.O. was similar to this movie. As well, child kidnapping which is a copycat of the movie ‘Geu Nom Moksori(His voice)’ happens a lot lately.
I can understand why they can’t distinguish what is for real and what is only for the screen. Maybe our society isn’t matured enough to accept those kind of movies.

Umm..You’re topic is very serious problem in our society, actually.
I also watched both movies ‘Enemy of the Public’ and ‘Geu Nom Moksori’ and was shocked so much.
Abruptly, the story of the mother who is killed by their son eat the son’s broken nail when she was almost dying come across my mind, it was very shock and suprise.
Anyway, copycat crime is very serious problem. We know that mass media give people many effect ,so mass media will take meticulous care to make contents and consider many sides.
These days, we always hear so many crimes newses. Many shoking ways of killing people in recent films cause these dirty evil. It’s a big problem that not only movies have rare limit to show violence scenes but people can’t distinguish between reality and moive. It’s really needed that the skill of distinguish have to be improved and the citizenship is more matured.
Young people are easily exposed to violent movies. I think we have strict rules so that they can’t be affected.
Nowadays copycat is very serious problems. Many young people copy from other person through Internet. So it raises an social issue. I think it has to prohibit by strict rules.
And I have been to Egypt two times. The country was very weird, but there were many sights to see attractions.
