Gord’s teaching

Eventhough Gord gives us a lot of homework, I like his teaching style. First time, I thought writing class was just related writing, but it wasn’t. He wanted us to discuss about our writings and topics he gave us. I couldn’t imagine speaking English in writing class. Almost everyday he give us homwork. His homework sounds like simple, but doing it is really hard, because we have to think qualitt not quantity. I think by doing homnework, I can practice many times. When he teach something, he usually gives examples. It helps me to understand easily. He is good at making jokes with gestures. Sometimes I think it’s fun and cute.

This is third times I have took his class,. I could notice differences when I compare with last semester. He doesn’t use a textbook any more, so I think reading time is shorten. Last claa, we learned grammarm, but this semester we focus on whole writing. One thing I like is workshop. I want to know which sentences are wrong by looking at others’ writings. I really prefer it. Generally, his teaching method is somewhat special. I hope I could follow him well, so that my teaching skill could be improved.
