My joyful weekend

The weekend is a rest time and a peaceful day to me. I usually sleep for a long time in my bed and get up rather late about 1PM on weekends. Then I have brunch and spend most of my time watching TV. However, this weekend was very different from other days because I spent a satisfactory time.

Last Friday, I visited my friend’s subscription concert held in Hong-Ik University. My friend is a lead singer in her group in this concert. She told me that today’s performance would be fantastic, so I expected her to sing. The curtain was raised and she came into sight. The first song was “It’s raining men.” It was terrific and other songs were also gorgeous! When the concert was over, a audience, myself included, applauded their passionate performance and clapped for a long time. I was proud to have this friend.

Last Saturday I went to an exhibition in the Seoul Art Center. I’m interested in arts, so when I knew this, I asked my friend to go there together. When we arrived, there were many people wanting to see public performances and galleries. The atmosphere there was very distinctive. The lighting, especially, helped to bring the displays into relief. It was clear that many artists put a lot of effort into these works. We took many pictures in commemoration of visit there. After that we entered Krispy Kreme Doughnut and talked about what we felt for a long time.

Of course, the weekend is a good time to relax. However, if we waste away our valuable weekend, there will be nothing left to us. Therefore, sometimes we have to have the time to enjoy the weekend. It might be better to spend time usefully than loaf at home. In this view, my last weekend seems to have been successful.

I think get up late is not waste. In my opinion, it is very good to relax your body and remove stress. Even though I got more stress if I wake up 5 p.m.
