School Uniform

I agree to the idea that student should wear the school uniform. While many students oppose to the idea as they claim the right of freedom, I believe that it brings about some positive effects on the students. First of all, the school uniform is a proper uniform for students. For the students do not have to wear splendid clothes, they can concentrate more on study, and they can reduce distraction. Secondly, it covers the diffence in wealth among students. Some friends are segregated due to the social and economic status of their families. Such difference can be reflected on how they look or clothes. Some poor friends can feel inferior to those who wear expensive clothing at times. However, as the same school uniforms are worn by all students, it can reduces the feeling of inferiority, and prevent the segregation caused by the difference in wealth. Thirdly, it can save money. By wearing the uniform, the cost spent on the clothes would be decreased. Fourthly, the anxiety of teenagers is significantly lessened. The teenagers are normally sensitive about the appearance. It is the time when they think about how they look to others. The anxiety about clothes grow at such ages. If one wears the uniform, he or she does not have to worry about what to wear every morning. The uniform system that many feel inconvenient and deem that it should be abolished. On the contrary, the uniform system is good means to cover such anxiety in minds of many students.
