‘Thanatonaute’

The word ‘death’ has a special meaning to humans because all people die some time, but no one knows when it will happen. There is a very interesting story about the world behind death. The ‘Thanatonaute’ is a novel written by the famous French writer, Bernard Werber. His novels have very unique stories and compositions like ‘Ants’ and ‘Brain’. This novel is not an exception. The ‘Thanatonaute’ means an explorer to the spiritual world where our souls go after death. There are two heroes. One is a very promising brain surgeon. The other is a researcher studying brain activities of animals. These two men have known each other since they were children. But when the researcher moves to another city, they became apart from each other. One day the researcher calls the brain surgeon. The researcher suggests the surgeon to join his research about the near death conditions of the human brain. The surgeon hesitates and feels guilty because there might be victims during experiments with the near death condition. After long consideration, the surgeon joins the research. After that, prisoners become victims of dangerous experiments and the story made progress. I haven’t seen the story about the spiritual world like this. It was really a refreshing shock to me and a good chance to think about my current life. I would like to recommend you to read the book.
