Bribes in Society

Our society is accustomed to bribes traditionally.  I think bribes spread aimlessly even though it must be wiped out completely. Then I hope bribery will someday be completely eliminated from Korean politics and business, but it might be impossible. Some politicians and businessmen couldn’t recognize before it was bad and big problems. The businessmen naturally give some bribes to politicians and they give some special favor to them. Sometimes, some politicians and government officers seem to wait for it from businessmen. I think if they couldn’t contribute to political funds, they are faced huge disadvantage, but if they connect well to politics, they might get the special favor and it could affect their business.

     Actually, human being wants more and more and they can’t empty their avarice. Thus , they might want to get special favor to get their avarice and that’s why bribes happen in our society. However, we shouldn’t look on bribes because it is impossible to eliminate in Korea. We should find out and punish it. Thus, we should try to decrease even though some bribes happen in some place or to some people.
