Hi,guys As there is something wrong with my computer,I have to upload my writing at one time in the classroom. And I don’t wanna bother you guys.So my writings are under one title. Good Job? Now is the tail of the university to many students in China.Finding a job is the most important thing to the senior student. The recruiting war starts from the September to the next April. If you haven’t got a job,it’s much more to hunt one now. It’s the time for graduation parties. Everyone wanna a good job.High salary, good welfare and shining company title, these are all that students dream for. But is the life of those guys who works in big companies really fantasy?I ever talked with some friends who work for worldwide big companies. I asked them if they were happy in working. And then I found most answers were negative.I changed the question to if they were satisfied with their job. Then the answers are more positive than before. They said most companies were proud that their employees were working and life balance. However, a guy pointed the point. ‘I’m confused how to balance the working and the life under such a press,’ he said, ‘and then my boss give me a lesson about balance. Balance is personal thing. If you think working for 8 hours is you limited line, so ‘working: life=1:2’ is your balance. That means if you think you can work 16 everyday, you are still in the balance.’ The truth is in China there is a concept called ‘service overtime’,which means overtime is free. If the boss is in the office the employees will stay. “I never have the idea of a vacancy as in France. For many businessmen, the holiday is only a long weekend with the work possibly.? my friend said. Blog...

Do you still live in this world after you died?
Do you ever think that after you died, is it possible that you still live in this world? A boy called youyou in China got cancer and struggled for a long time. He wrote dairies in blog everyday and lots of people got to know him and cared about him though the website. He showed his adamancy and desire to live in dairies. People were touching by him. After he died, his mother wrote in his blog instead of him. People still saw his blog as before. Could we say youyou is still living in this world, in a sense? Also in Beijing universities, there were many groups on school bbs set up to honor the dead. For the students who have always known the internet, the first place to channel grief was online. It showed an online mourning impulse of the new media generation. After we died, we may still live for a long time in this world. Will there be a new life?:)

Lost in Translation
Have you ever lived in another country, especially the country whose language you can’t understand at all? I’ve been here about 8 months. Sometimes the starting months here returns to my mind. At that time, I had a strong feeling on the movie ‘lost in translation’. I felt many same things in the movie. In the first week I was led to my advisor professor who looked strict. As a new guy who knew nothing here, I was nervous and scared. A student who could speak Chinese went with me as my translator. We talked for a long time. Actually the professor made the ‘speech’ for a long time and the only thing I could do was listening to her and smiling, pretended being interested. When I saw she saying ‘balabala’ long as ten sentences, I turned to translator and got one short sentence. It really made me frustrated. It gets better and better now. And I become interested in travelling to other countries again. However,I have a problem recently, which is that I can’t fall a sleep in the bed for a long time. What should I do?

Tragedy:Virginia Tech Shootings
Wikinews: Two shootings at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia have left 33 people dead, gunman included, in the deadliest civilian shooting in the United States. A further 15 people are being treated in a hospital. According to police, the gunman committed suicide. I’m very sad to hear this tragedy.:( Pray for the people who have lost their loved ones.Pray for my friend in America.I hope he will never meet this kind of tragedy. American government should focus more on the wars inside, not invading the 3rd countries. Why is it legal to have a gun? It’s true that people can use knife or any other things to kill. However, having guns makes crime easier, right? It’s too terrible to see human beings killing each other. What’s our world like?

Hey,let’s talk something about career goal:)
Recently,I am hunting for an internship in summer. And I become exhausted on the huge kinds of applications. The most question I met is ‘what’s your career goal?’ One of my answers is following. My career goal is very simply which can be summed up by the letter “T?. The horizontal line of “T? stands for the width of my career choice, which means I can have different industry exposure and dabble at diverse functional areas. That is why I am keen to join A.T. Kearney, who can give me a high platform to enlarge my ken effectively. The vertical line of “T? stands for the depth of my career path design. So if I was asked what my alternatives to A.T. Kearney were, the answer is those manufacturing companies, which can offer me opportunities to beginning from the most basic things of one department and gradually accumulate my functional experience. These two aspects mentioned above are both important for me, but if the priority exists, I will firstly focus on the width of my career choice. The reason is that I believe one should have more exposure to the diversity of this world in his/her youth stage, which is a good lesson for his/her development not only in professional skills, but also the character and personality. What do you think about your career goal?

Being busy is good or bad
From time to time I tell my parents that I am a guy on the verge of a nervous breakdown.I keep chattering to them. When I had an internship in Ogilvy,I made a list of what I need to do everyday. The list was interminable: newsletter to write, daily report to make, clients to call, statistics table for clients questionaries to make,a bunch of press briefings to collect……I could only sleep for 5 hours everyday so that I always said to myself ‘I wanna go back to Korea!’ However, when I came back to the campus,I had a new long list! Most time my parents says, in magisterial sort of way:”You lead a very full life and you should be very happy.”This is short for the response I’m aiming for, which is:”You are pretty hard working!”or at least,”Please take a rest.” And I am thinking about it that my busyness may not be the thing that push me to death but may be the thing keeps me sane. Being busy is good or bad? What’s you opinions, guys? ^_^
