Hello~
My name is Dong Hoon, Bae. I’m sophomore majoring in English language & Culture. I’m planning to go to army after finishing this semester, so I want to make good memories about my last semester.
I like to go to the movies. In these days, I’m interested in western movies than Korean, but I saw Korean movie yesterday. Its name was “Our happy time” (I don’t know formal English name.) It was a love story between a condemned criminal and a woman who attempted suicide three times. I’m a little sensitive, and the movie was sad enough to cry, but luckily I didn’t. If I did, my friend would tease me whenever she meets me. She was almost fell a sleep, while I was watching the movie.
I love movies that have impressive visuals. Some days ago, I saw the movie named “Sin City” and its every scene was so cool and thrilling. Even I bought some American comics the movie originated in. Some Chinese movies also have very large scaled and beautiful scenes. I saw “Hero” three times (A Chinese chivalry movie). Its story is not so special, but when it comes to the visuals, It’s amazing.
Through this class I want to practice writing my movie review well, and read many writings other students write. And I want to be able to write what I felt from movies correctly and lively.
