What I don’t belive..
Do you believe your destiny? If so, I don’t have a different idea from you. The destiny means a power that people believe controls their lives. But our lives are always controlled by ourselves. Before I give you my opinion, let me tell you an absurd story about two men who believe the destiny.
A man went to India. As soon as he landed at the airport, he took a taxi to go to a city. The city was very near from the airport and he could arrived at the destination just few minutes later. However the taxi driver charged him an incredible price for the fare. He complained about it and the driver said like this. “Why do you try to shift the blame on me? It’s your destiny to pay this price at this moment.” The man couldn’t help paying that.
Some people believe that their whole lives are already decided. Picking up a bill, winning a lottery, failing a test at the exact time and in accurate place.. They trust every luckiness and unluckiness is up to their destinies. So far, so good. But when they want to achieve something, it is very easy to tend to depend on their destinies. Without any effort, they are lying under an apple tree waiting for an apple to drop into the mouth. To believe the destiny makes a person to rationalize him/herself. In bad situation, he/she can put blame on the destiny, not him/herself.
If I had believed that my life was fixed by the destiny, I would have always reproached my parents with the fact I was not the rich, a genius, a nice looking girl and so on. And I would have held my destiny responsible all my problems.
So, If you are believing your destiny, stop it! We should know that everything is up to us!
