I believe the Korean zodiacal sign to some degree.
What is your zodiacal sign? I was born in the Year of the Dog. There are 12 signs of the zodiac in Korea like a pig, monkey and ox. People believed that each animals of the zodiac have different characteristics for a long time. So, they forecast the luck of the year when they greet the New Year by the zodiacal sign. People say the Year of the Sheep is peaceful like a sheep and the Year of the Horse is spirited like a horse. Then, they think that we’re similar to the characteristics of the our zodiacal animal. Therefore, they think that someone who born in the Year of the Monkey has a handy person and who born in the Year of the Tiger is very brave.
Well, I agree with this superstition to some degree. My mother and my old sister was born in the Year of the Sheep. They are modest and don’t make a trouble. And then, my friend who was born in the Year of the Ox is a hard worker. She never waste her time.
There is no scientific evidence, but some people believe in this superstition in Korea until now.
