Do you guys have any kinds of jinx?
There was a jinx which I strongly believed during my highschool days. The jinx was that I blew a test whenever I put a book in my book bag upside down in test day. Because of this, I’d kept checking books to be put in a schoolbag. If not, it must have been a saddest day for blowing a test. It was so funny, wasn’t it?
The reason I failed in an examination was that I didn’t study enough to be satisfied with the result. However, at that time, I wanted to attribute unsatisfied result to something else not me.
Now, as a university student, there was no jinx like that. The jinx already disappeared. I believe the reason it did is that I don’t put books on a bag. I carry not enough big bag to put all of my stuff in. That’s why I usually hold in my hand. Thanks for this, I don’t have a jinx now.
And, one thing I’d like to tell you is to wish as greeting the biggest holiday, Chu-seok, in Korea. One of our cultures is wishing while we see a full moon. Although this is a kind of superstitions which we believe, it could come true, if we wish from the bottom of our heart. So, this time, I am going to wish what I really want. Only wishing can make me to have a hope. Ah, don’t forget! if you tell anyone what you wish, the dream can not come true. Everyone knows this, right?
