” Congratulations on the birth of your princess!” The letter my uncle sent to my mom when I saw the light for the first time in my life is kept carefully in the title page of my first picture album. Frankly I hadn’t felt anything with this letter. I thought he just asked after mother’s health after childbirth and congratulated.
Suddenly the letter occured to me. My aunt who said, “Double congratulations!” and cousins (brother Yongjun, sisters Mihye, Yunkyung) who were delighted at the news of the birth of new sister and my grandmother ran at a strech… Now I knew I had grown up with the pleasure and love as same as I feel now when I see my little nephews. My heart became warm. Afresh, I recognized my family who welcomed me are precious and the most important to me.
Now it is my turn to learn the love they have given to me and to give it back to my new family. My cousin Youngjun got married with a beautiful woman a week ago. They became our new family member. With my best wishes to the new couple…
