I went to Cheonggyecheon in Kwanghwamoon station because my friend had a part time job there. we went around kyobomoongo where my friend worked and had a kimbab as a dinner. In fact, we didn’t know both how we could find the stream. we just heard that there is Cheonggyecheon in the station and can find with a little steps. But it was a lie perfectly. We had to find there before sunset.
I visited here first time and I have been heard that this stream was changed from 2003 to 2005. I visited Cheonggyecheon last year but it was not here. I remember it was around Dongdeamoon station and at that time, the stream is dirty and unclean, furthermore I could have foul smelling there. Because the stream had very small water and was being rotten so I had to hold my nose tightly. I had a bad remember about that.
But nowdays the stream is very clean and we can see inside of water including stream floor which have hundreds of rocks. Seoul City has a plan from few years ago to fix this place and Seoul mayor Myungbak Lee insisted that I would change Chonggyecheon to beutiful stream unlike now. That was his elctroral commitment.
Cheonggyecheon was used to date course for sweet heart and I could feel freshness there too. we walked there following the stream and I thought that if I had a bicycle and I can ride it, this place will be a wonderful place to ride it and take a walk. Cheonggyecheon has very special attraction. This place is harmonized with others like high building and asphalt pavement .Every citizen enjoyed this place unlike past and I enjoyed here so much. And there is other convenient facilities like cultural event ,small festival and park which has a fountain. Cheonggyecheon has a symbol of Seoul now. I think it’s good idea to visit here with family or friends and I hope to visit here again with my boyfriend someday.
