Pocket Billiards
I went out to play pocket billiards with friends for the first time last weekend. I didn’t even know how to make a proper posture or serve the ball since it was the first time. But friends told me about the rules and postures very well in detail that I could get used to it soon. I felt it was hard at first because I had to put the ball I want to hit into the hole by hitting the white ball. But at the moment when the ball I hit was fallen into the hole, I felt so excited and thrilled. People maybe play billiards because of this thrill.
Nowadays playing pocket billiards is in fashion that many people are learning it. Especially the number of women who enjoy this game is increasing. The most popular game in pocket billiard is “Eight Ball” and this is game where you have to put all 15 balls into the hole, especially the number eight ball the last. Each team should choose either balls from number 1 to 7 or from 9 to 15 and you have to put all balls in the holes regardless of number. And when you put the last eight ball first then you win. If the eight ball is put into holes by mistake in the middle of the game, you will lose unconditionally. This eight ball rule is simple compared to other kinds of billiard games and also you play with many balls so the beginners can learn it easily. That’s why even women who don’t have much interest in sports can also enjoy it easily.
