Rice noodle, which has strange smell
I had never eaten rice noodle before. Some people said to me rice noodle is so delicious, and others said it has very bad smell. At this time, my friend and I went to the Vietnamese restaurant Photai. She ordered an rice noodle with soup, and I ordered a noodles with assorted mixtures. The foods came out to us. Mine was delicious. It didn’t have a bad smell, and the chili sauce was great. It was similiar with Korean mixed noodles. In addition, I thought that the rice noodle is healthier than other flour noodles. Aftertaste was also good, so I like it very well.
On the contrary, my friend’s rice noodle was very bad. She liked and enjoyed it, but I couldn’t stand that smell any more. The soup was terrible. Actually taste was not very bad, but smell was so terrible. In addition, I have a very delicate palate. Vietamese flavor is too strong to eat for me. I tried her noodle, then I gave it up right away.
However, all Vietnamese food is not bad. Food that have a little soft flavor I can eat anything. In fact, the taste is very light and clean. I want to try something another day.
