Homework is necessary thing for students.
Homework helps students practice what they learn, but that’s not the only reason homework is important. Making good habits are so important. For example, parents try to make their children read books since they are very young. If their children don’t remember the stories, that’s not matter. The most important thing is that children read books until now due to their habits. Homework is as good as it. As homework makes habits that students concentrate for hours, they can try to do what they want continuously.
In addition, students learn responsibility from homework. People should choose one thing sometimes. For instance, assume that a student should go her best friend’s birthday party. She can’t do homework after the party, because the friend’s house is so far. She should choose more important thing to do now. If she decide to go the birthday party, she doesn’t get a good grade tomorrow. On this process, she learn how to give up and make a decision based on situations. To do homework depends on each student. No one forces to do it. The only thing students keep in their mind is that the result is followed by what they did. There is no free lunch. Therefore, I think homework is necessary thing for students.
