It takes time to know a brand new person. After knowing each other, there is only two ways to go – to be or not to be with the person. Although this is an oversimplified situation, it is true that most people don’t get along with all of the people whom she or he knows. In other words, everyone has their special person for various reasons. I also have a very special person in my life and I’ve known her for a long time. There are some particular reasons that I like her.

    Something I have in common with her is the taste of choosing books or movies. When we choose a book or a movie, we have a tendency to follow a specific writer or a director. Because of that, we always have something in common to talk about favorite books and movies. Also, if one of us found a great book or movie, we cannot stand to tell the story to the other! She often tells me that, “You should see that movie!� or “You have to read this book!� After I see the movie or read the book that she told me, we spend a lot of time to discuss about that. This is why I love to spend the time with her!

    Something I aspire to her is her habit of being on time. She has never missed the time of an appointment. Whoever she meets or wherever she goes, she has always been on time. I also try to be on time just like her, but I’m always late minimum 10 minutes to maximum 30 minutes. I know that it is really bad habit that I should break of doing that, but it is hard! She really doesn’t like my habit of being late, so she tries to make me break the habit by nagging me – but unfortunately, it didn’t work yet. I feel amazing to her for being on time, but I don’t think I would be like her someday.

    There is one thing I want to change from her is her style. She really doesn’t care about fashion, hair style, and make-up because she believes that inside is more important than appearance. I agree with her but if she cares a little bit more on her appearance, she would be more arrogant, and beautiful. For example, on a special day like a wedding day, I try to put some make-up on her face and check her style. Then, she always complains that fancy things are bothering her. However, I much more prefer when she puts make-up with beautiful formal dress.

    These things are just little parts to show why I love her so much. It is hard to express all complicated emotion I feel to her by words. People have something in the heart that hard to explain by words when they think about the person who is really special. She is the person to me. She has something I hate, something I can’t understand, something I feel sad, etc. I came from her, have spent all of my life with her, and love her, my mom.
