This semester I am taking Intermediate English conversation, So i have to present the news interview which explain social environmen and wrote this interview .

Welcome to the Catholic SOS,  a weekly conversation. I’m Jin yeon-hwa. Every day the fears of China imports has been reported by all of mass media. Recently, Kim-chi made in China was found parasite, some fish imported from China contained carcinogenic. Nowaday many Korean people who use the chinese products are very shocked to these problem, and products made in china is floated one of the serious social issue. If so why has China has brought these problem?  and what is the fundamental reasons?

We start to talk with China economy analyst Ye-hyun, welcome!

ì—°í™”: First tell us the fundamental reasons of these problem.

예현: Nowaday China has been undergoing changes in economy rapidly ,after they adopted the Capitalism in economy field. So this environment have made moral hazard. Above all they don’t have a correct understanding about environment. Many advanced countries had already undergone this phenomenon, however China ‘s economic scale is bigger than any other country, so the ripple effect is also huge. Second reason is that the price cutting race about the prime cost. China is located competitive relationship to Southeast Asian market. They lower the prime cost to win the competition, so they cannot but be unconcerned about product’s quality. Third reason is that many public servants are rotten since the competence of a government office is decentralized. So there are hardly supervision in substance. Although Communist China has punished more than 17,500 officials this year on corruption charges, they still have many problem about corruption.

ì—°í™”: By the way, I wonder whether China is the only reason of responsibility in these problem. How about China’s claim ??  

예현:China’s claim is a prime cost which Korean company required .For example Korean buyers only want to make more profit by requiring more lower prime cost. So the products’s quality become lower and lower. However Japan pay for high cost to make good products. Above all they check their products ‘s process and safety strictly. China claim that they have one of the biggest organic market.

ì—°í™”:Okay If so these problem influence not only Korea but all of the world. At this time we invited a special guest who is author most recently of an book entitled A year without ‘Made in China’. welcome Sarah Bongiorni~ How was your life without made in china in detail? Why did you decide that?

사ë�¼: One day I suddenly found the fact that most of my products that I use was occupied by ‘Made in China’. At that time I and my family members decided not to use made in china. The moment that we had decided started to make a suffering. I had to buy expensive stuff that we use every day. Above all Avoiding chinese products was the most difficult work in that period and it took very long time. For example four-year-old son became the owner of Gucci shoes. Oh gosh~my purse was empty. I should have been ousted made in china. I realized that It is impossible.

ì—°í™”: It sounds interesting in contrast to your attempt is sort of demonstration that we cannot live without made in china?

사�: Yes right, we placed inevitable situation. Therefore the primary way to solve the problem is depends on china. If they will not improve these situation, they will not have qualification as the factory of world. China threaten not only the citizen of china but the citizen of world. They are responsible to raise their morality and supervision. Unless they try to change in a good way, they are never able to get back their fame.
