Help me! My house is breathing!

My house, which is located at near back way of Catholic University is really old villa. However there were no problems to live there so far. It is quite big to live alone which includes one kitchen, one bath room and two rooms even though one room is really small that one can’t lie down there. Most importantly, it’s really near from the school. It seemed that it’s perfect house for me with cheap rent.

I could know the problem of this house, however, when it became winter. The problem was since it’s really old villa, its protection against wind is really weak, and as a result it’s frizzing being inside the house. I couldn’t believe that it was still cold even though I turned on a boiler and set it up to 25 degrees. It seems my house is breathing and letting cold air all into it.

Of course, I struggled against this house no just being frustrated. I blocked two big windows with wide vinyl not to let the air out side goes into my house. I also set the curtain at every window. Besides, I wear piles of clothes including socks and muffler! But, as you can guess, it’s still cold and cold never leaves me.

So, if you know any great solutions to this problem, please help me. I can’t think of any solutions any more. If there aren’t any solution it’s the only way to leave this house and live in my parents’ place until spring.
