Hansik is Korean traditional manners. It is a day for offering food to ancestor and adorning their tomb. The day is same with Arbor day, so many Korean went to their ancestral tomb. However, it is not a legal holiday from this year, so my family went to there last Saturday. Unfortunately, it was just raining as soon as we got the grand father’s tomb, so we decided to only bow. However, rain seemed like stop, so my family planted flower seeds because he liked flowers during life time, and I weeded the tomb. At that time, I looked back upon the days that I remove my father’s some white hair when I was a elementary school student.  It was strange feeling because first time that I thougt like that since I’ve pulled up weeds before 3 years ago. I felt the round tomb with green weeds like a grey head. This feeling made me wonder whether the tomb alives. I knew that thinking didn’t make sense, but it was just fun and interesting thinking to me. Thanks to that unreasonable thinking, weeding wasn’t hard. I spent great time there, and I hoped the seeds grow into beautiful flowers during this spring, summer and autumn.
