Using cell phone in public place.

I took a subway going to see a friend of mine today. I usually took an express subway to Shindorim. I almost had a seat and go there  , and reading  books. on the way to there, a person who was next to me was calling  on the cell-phone. he looked like around 30 years old. it was really too loud. all people stare at him. you know, Its scene really was  exciting. It looked like a part of movie. It seemed that he was born with getting a high tone. I was reading a book at that time. i couldn’t stand it.  i would like to tell him to shut up! but I can’t do that on the spot. and then he hung up the cell phon after about 20m and got off. he really made the people irritated.

I  think we should avoid  using cellphone in public space.when the cellphone ring  in a public palce   , we should find  a quiet place to take the call. whenever we have to take the call in public, then  I think we should try to talk softly so that we don’t bother any irritated others. finally we should have etiquette at any pubiic place.

  1. Jeong Hun,

I agree, I find a lot of people don’t have proper manners when using cell phones in public spaces. I think, however, this may only change when people start telling them to please be quiet, or to go between the train cars if they absolutely must speak. I don’t see why everyone in a train car should put up with something annoying just because one person wants to speak. I don’t think people should have to tolerate such inconsideration. But, as I say, it will only improve once people start actively complaining and demanding more consideration from others. Will you dare to ask the person to be quieter next time?
