Good luck is not free.

Yesterday, my boy friend got a MP3 as a free gift from a department store for the first time of his life. He bought some goods about a week ago. After receiving a call, he was pleased because it was definitely good luck. We had never have that kind of luck before. When we shop at a big market, they used to offer the chance of scratching card. We turned out failed everytime we tried it.
“Ok, ok, it’s not our thing. We must work and make money or goods. Good luck is not on our side. Forget about it.�?
However, yesterday was different. I joked to him. “The goddess of good luck is now coming to us. Get out and buy some lottery ticket .�? We had funny and happy time. A free gift is just for fun. Actually, we already have each one so my boy friend said “I don’t need another one so I will give it my younger sister. It’s present for her after all. Anyway, we had kind of a good time with a free gift.
I have bought lottery ticket sometimes, but I never had a chance to win in a lottery as yet.
Today, I realized that good luck is not free, it’s earning thing have to make a effort.
