The method of cooking Kimbap.

Someone said that cooking is one of the most creative jobs in the world. Some people really love to cook not only because they create something they can eat but also because they create something to share with their beloved people. When I want to make something to share for my beloved people, I usually make some Kimbap. I love making Kimbap because it can be a perfect meal itself, it has many vegetable, and I do not need to make other side dishes any more.
Making some Kimbap is simple as follows. To make some Kimbap, you need the following ingredients:rice, toasted and seasoned laver, a carrot, one cucumber, eggs, ham, some yellow sweet and salty radish, some salt and the most important ingredient- some perilla oil, which is similar to sesame oil, but it is used when people fry some vegetables in Korea.
First, prepare the rice. It is important to remember when you make rice for Kimbap, you need a bit less water than what you usually put .
Second, prepare the other ingredients while the rice is boiling. After washing half of a carrot, peel off the skin and cut it into fine strips. Add a little salt and perilla oil, fry them over a strong heat for a couple of minutes. Stir two eggs well adding a little bit of salt in a bowl and pour in the frying pan and fry it on a low heat. When it is half done, you must roll it up smoothly. After you cool it, cut it to the thickness of a little finger. Next, cut the cucumber, ham and yellow radish as thick as the prepared eggs. When rice is done, add some salt and perilla oil in rice and mix them well.
If you happen to have a tool for rolling Kimbap, it would be a great help. If you do not have, you can use a wrapper instead. First spread the rolling tool, put toasted and seasoned laver on it. Spread some rice on the laver and put some carrot first, then a slice of egg, ham, cucumber, yellow radish. It is better for you to consider the colors of all ingredients when Kimbap is cut. Finally you can roll them up with care. Cut a roll of kimbap into 8 pieces, and enjoy your Kimbap with your beloved people. If they found it delicious, they would appreciate your trouble by doing your dishes.

My one of favorite food is Kimbab. I think it is similar to Japanese food called, si shi. I was sad that other people just know japanese food, not Korean.
