They have very eager eyes and you can feel the hunger in these. If you were there, you can read their mind “Now time for enjoy the party”. And hunting object is the girl.
Nowadays we can easily find the article about raping and other sexual stuff in the internet news. This is frequent subject because it attracts the man very easily. But this also true the fact that girl become more bravery than before about exposing their body and becoming more social problem. So what can we do about this? If we say that girl needs to be more woman of virtue, they might say that we are infringing their right. And if we just leave it alone, it just becomes the social problem and sometimes using for the tool to hide other problem like political scandal. But my answer is that they should be more careful about wearing sexual clothes because of three reasons. It’s very dangerous to take a risk of raping and it also harmful about real beauty and it cause generation gap between old and young.
Like my hook’s description, man is very like a wolf. They’re usually instinctive and impulsive compared with girls. We are dangerous and simple animal. If girl learn to control, we become very tractable. Related with this, girl’s short skirt is provocative for man. To exposing their legs and walking around at the night is insane behavior. It just like saying, “please rape me”. I’m not only talking about the short skirts, all very sexual clothes. I’ve never seen this kind of clothes in other country except the girl is prostitute or clubber. This is one of the reasons our country’s raping rate is so high. So if you don’t want to have potential of raping, try to avoid this kind of clothes.
And it also ruins the real beauty. Real beauty is not far from our ordinary life; actually in the mundane life we can find the real beauty. It came from the mind and their real appearance. It only can be bloom when they confront real them and caring about their identity. If girl get on sexy dress, it just remind of one-night stand partner. If they have time to wearing and caring about the sexy costume, it would be better caring about their mind and natural beauty.
Last is generation gap. It is very natural to have gap between generations. They, the old, also know we have a gap and try to narrow this but it’s hard to accept to wearing this kind of clothes because in their age they don’t have this. I heard from one old guy saying, “tut,tut what’s going on to our society ”. We cannot just regard this of one old fool’s worrying. They already anticipate that how this causes the bad effect to the girl. So they don’t make the short skirts or provocative clothes. If we don’t wear the sexy clothes, it doesn’t affect to our life at all. Why don’t you give up for our social unity?
Girl might say that they have right to do whatever they want. That’s true. Man wears the clothes whatever and they also have the same right. But it’s when they harm themselves. Man is considers as the animal. We are dangerous. If they don’t have the power to control man properly, they need to stop. But I don’t mean to complain about invention of sexy clothes. I intend to propose that why don’t you wearing sexy clothes in the appropriate situation like anniversary and party.
I’m sorry, but I find this offensive. Now, I say that, but I’ve made the same argument, and understand why you make it. Society tells us that when a woman is sexually assaulted, it might be because of her clothing. The thing is that men are not like wolves in one important way: they are sentient. They are conscious and can choose to violate other humans’ rights, or choose not to. You are doing a despicable thing here, by blaming the victim and pretending the blame does not belong to the attacker.
In other words, you are choosing to pretend men cannot control their instincts, when in fact they can. Men can choose not to rape women. Men can choose to treat women as human beings, equal to themselves. I agree that some will choose not to — but that is much less related to their clothing, and much more related to whether a particular man is a selfish, mentally-ill monster or not.
As for the idea of real beauty, all I can say is that history is full of men dictating to women what real beauty looks like. How do we establish the standard of beauty? Should men dictate to women what that standard is? Why, or why not?
Finally, cultural change is inevitable… the generation that is complaining todayy also changed Korean culture in relation to their parents’ generation, after all, and not always in positive ways. To ask (or demand) of women to sacrifice their conception of their due freedoms is problematic to begin with; to suggest that women should follow the values of older generations becomes increasingly problematic. Women in Korea do not enjoy equality even now; to suggest they should give up whatever newly-found freedoms in order to make older people (especially older MEN) happy is ridiculous. Rather, we should be teaching older people how rude it is to push strangers to obey them all the time.
I want you to understand, my objection to your arguments is mainly based on the inherent sexism in the arguments. I think there are reasonable arguments about the sexualization of womens’ clothing today. For example, it reinforces a focus on womens’ appearance; that by choosing to dress this way, women participate in their own relegation to being sex objects; and more. But I think your arguments are very easy to dismiss as sexist, and therefore it is very easy for your reader not to take your arguments seriously. This is not good for your text — it’s something you want to avoid.
