I don`t believe that should not take a shower before any kind of test.
“If you have a test, you should not take a shower(include shampooing)and pair your nail. ” This proverb is existing in Korea.
In the past, we belived that learning skills harmonize with our body. So, if take a shower or cut nails, we are sure of wiping out our knowledges and skills at same time. Many people follow this proverb before examination or a certificate of qualification test.
The other side, in our custom has a purification. It is a hope will be an accomplish that test or really want be. In purification process, our spirit and mind will be a right. And we has a good body will be of upright. I agree with this custom rather than proverb.
When I was young, my mother said to me don`t take a shower before test. Frankly speaking, I couldn`t believe that knowlege was cleaned. Bur that study time was very hard to me. Because I couldn`t concentrate in my study because I thought my body had a bad smell and sometime feel a tickle. Especially, my mind was distracted in library. Best hard thing for me, feel tickle on my head and body. So I got scratched my body or head then I couldn`t concentrate my study.
The proverb saying; take a shower mean our knowledge is clean. On the other hand, I can`t concentrate study because don`t take a shower. That mean, any knowledge is existing for clean.
The result of test does not depend on take a shower, it is depend on concentrate of study. So, I don`t believe this provrb.
