The truth of blood type
Do you believe that a boyfriend whose blood type is B is a playboy? or people whose blood type is A presented as very timid? In these days, we can easily saw many sign of categorized and standardized blood type. For example, the book which title is “dating with boyfriend whose blood type B” ” Each blood type’s business” Also, when we meet someone, we usually asked them “What is your blood type?” People believe each different blood type has different personality. But is that true?
Some days ago, I saw the documentory about “truth of blood type” That program said already some years ago, it was identified that blood type or star sign is not true. There’s no scientific evidence. Then why people believed that ? First, because of ‘ barnum effect.’ This effect is like to a psychological test. So, people think with the fact that, only an abstract idea and general personality is related with themself. For example, according to charactor of blood type, people with blood type A is very careful and shy. But among other blood type people’s can has that personality,too.
Second, this point of view is based on a historical reason. Controversy of blood type was issued in our society. But, Western people even don’t care about blood type of themself. It’s beginning was from Germany and Japan. Germany, once used blood type in racial discrimination when World War ll. When Japan invaded our nation, they used them,too. This rule holds so far in Japan. ‘Tokyo journal’, gave an account of an anticipation of newly elected Japanese minister’s hold office period.
The belief in the different charactors about blood type has persisted in spite of the advances in science and medical investigation. There’s no evidence with charactor and blood type, so many people believed yet. So did I,too. But, someone’s personality , there’s always difference between individuals. Like background surrounding. So, I think there’s no need to be bound by strict rules. It’s just statistical data, only. Don’t be tied!!
