Diversity of Japanese roll
Became globalized, we share many things between other countries. Food is exception to this rule. Among variety of food culture, I try to eat Japanese food. Korea and Japan was interchanged many things for a long time but, their food culture was similar, too. Most typical Japanese dish is roll, kind of sushi and soba. Ordinary, I overlook roll but this time I went eat those food.
I ate California roll and Yakisoba. California roll is very popular and well-known roll. The name is like western, and of course it’s little bit fusion dishes. It’s similar to Korean Kim-bob, whish I like so much, but stuff was diffirent with it. Flying fish roe(“tobiko” in Japanese term) was on the roll and that attracted my attention. This roll is very fresh.
And then, I ate Yakisoba. Soba means noodle dishes. Because of using soy sauce, this taste was familiar to me. Most of korean noodle recipe is boiled but this recipe is fried noodles. So, it’s little bit briny but I think roll and yakisoba is a good pair.
Once, foreigner asked me, Have you eaten Japanese roll and what about their taste. I feel diverse nations food is spread all over the world.
