Korean ramyeon VS Japanese Ramen
When I saw Japanese ramen on TV for the first time, it looked different with Korean ramyeon so I wanted to know it’s taste. And I ate it with my partner last weekend. There were too many kinds of ramen to choose one, but finally I chose miso-ramen to eat. It was very different with Korean ramyeon as I expected. First of all, soup of the ramen was different. Japanese ramen’s soup had much lighter taste than Korean ramyeon. You know, most Korean ramyeon’s soup has very strong taste. I’m used to that flavor so miso-ramen’s soup was a little too plain for me. Next, noodles of the ramen was different with ramyeon. Most Korean ramyeon is an instant food so it’s noodle is processed. It is fried. But the ramen uses unprocessed noodle so it’s noodle was very soft and mild. Because of these things Japanese ramen was felt like more woodong than ramyeon and it was a little weird for me. But I think it is better for our health.
