Am I lucky?
We cannot see what will happen to us in a few moments. So some people who have a thing important used to go and see a fortune teller. And then the fortune teller tells whether the clients have good luck or not. Though I don’t believe the fortune, my partner and I decided to have our fortunes told by tarot card. To read oneself’s fortune by tarot card is all the rage among people because it is cheap and easy to touch with it. We went to Bu-pyeong to see a famouse fortune teller by tarot card. It was just for fun but I was a little bit nervous.
When entering the room, I was disappointed at the atmosphere. It was totally different with my expectation. I had expacted a fantastic atmosphere with some candles and black curtains but there was a table and a fortune teller who had a featureless face. There were so many parts of fortune we can ask such as job, love, money, exam and so on. We sat at the table and ask about our fortunes of job. First, the fortune teller mixed the cards and I picked some cards. And then she put them on the table and turned the cards over. She read the cards for a minute and told me about my fitness for some jobs. I felt that her saying was right to some extent. She suggested me to find a job in artistic circles or international organizations. Actually I am interested in works of art and international conferences or seminars. I was surprised at her guess. It was marvelous.
I don’t know whether it is a scientific way but I could be encouraged by this experience. Though there was nothing special, I could have a hope and a courage toward my future. I still do not believe the fortune but I think the fortune telling is not that useless. It was an interesting experience.
