Okonomiyakies vs Bindeaducks.
My partner and I decided to have an Okonomiyaki. Okonomiyakies are called Bindeaducks(some poeple say it Korean pizza) of Japan in Korea. Atually it looks like Bindeaducks and it is similar to Bindeaducks in the way of cooking. Eventhough I ate it for the first time, the taste of it was good as much as Bindeaducks and I liked it. While eating it, I found something that there were many marine products comparing with Bindeaducks in Korea.
When food appears in a country, the food is affected by some conditions. The conditions can be geography of the country, living environments and the economic situations. The post world war Ⅱ, UN gave japan flour as an aid goods. At that time, Japanese suffering from hunger made food with the flour mixing some different materials they had. Japan was surrounded the sea so their food contained a lot of marine prducts naturally. And then, that has been developed to Okonomiyakies in now. During I did this assignment, I was very joyful because I could eat food that I’ve never eaten before and I could find that food of an country contains its own culture, history, and various backgrouds.
