Sexual mores which is tabooed and concealed in
Korea because of Confucianism becomes much more suggestive in media than past. It is related to recently social sexual roles. Our society is being Tomboy/Cross sexual Syndrome. It means the collapse of traditional fashion of men who enjoy makeup and wear clothes and accessories of woman and women who throw away their skirts and looked like a boy at first appearance. We can easily find these kind of people in the media or street. Also, Korean culture expresses live and sex openly and frankly. Then, the masses notion about homosexuality isn’t negative thing any more. However, there are opinions which worry about too explicit broadcasting. Because we seem to be far more open to and ready for open sexual expression in media. Therefore, we throw ourselves into the matter with enthusiasm.

Korea believe in Confucianism. Because of the mores, the sexual separation was thoroughly treated in the past. For examples, there is a Korean proverb, “A boy and girl should not sit together after they have reached the age of seven.� Also, suggestive sexual expression in the mass media was subject to restriction excessively.
