Capital is most important part of living in this era. People try to maintain their capital by  hereditary. One of the powerful asset, English also has tendency to maintain by hereditary.For example a boy who has quite rich parents had studied abroad in his earliest childhood. He had experienced high education. After he came back, he could receive diverse opportunity and go top-ranking university easily. Those who like him obtain great job and lead  an high-quality life in Korea society. People who want their children to obtain high status than before follow the procedure like the boy. However people who don’t have enough condition to educate their children suffer from many problem. These phenomena are called English fever. Everywhere we go in Korea, English is important topic. It is not too much say that English decide whole life. Before we know why we have to learn English, we are forced to learn English. English fever spread over in our country. we waste our money and time. Actually all of people who live in Korea don’t have to learn English. It is the waste of nation’s resource. If so why do we make great effort to learn English? The social structure make English fever serious. Generally, a ordinary person have to learn English to live. We can not find any job or apply any school without English. Most ordinary people who dream higher social position can not but study English, and actually society offer higher status and require superfluous English level.The other reason is a sense of inferiority and vanity that Korean have. We is placed the small and weak country comparing America. World develope with a story line that centers on America, so English fever is not only Korea’s problem but also all of countries except for the English-speakinfg world. These phenomena existed in the past. For example in 14th century Englishmen have to learn Latin or French, moreover Korean were follower of China and adhere to learn a Chinese character in Chosun dynasty. They was placed similar situation. However now Korea is more extreme about English than any other country. We need to feel pride our language and reduce self-consciousness. The government have to set up more exact and diverse standards when they hire people.
