A couple of weeks ago, it was un unlucky day.
People usually call the day Murphy’s day. In the morning, I got up late and I felt like being late for school. Because I was so hurry to go to school, I forgot to take my cellphone, wallet, and credit card. When I arrived at the train staition, I realized I didn’t take something. But, I cannot go back home. So, I decided to gain some coins on the street. I felt so ashamed, but I cannot help doing that. After arriving at school, I borrow some money from one of my classmates who I’ve hardly ever been hand and gloves with each other. Anyway, I could barely get fare to come home. But the problem is that nobody was at home. I didn’t have keys, cellphone, and any money! It was terrible. Only thing I can do was just waiting and waiting. It was too cold to stand on the passage of my story. I really wanted to shout loudly. At that time, my younger brother came up to 7th floor and I could be in my home. All the day seemed like Murphy’s day, and what is worse, I got really bad cold.
Oh! I had that kinds of day too!! But I think my unlucky day was nothing compare with yours. I hope tomorrow will be your lucky day!!
First of all, I am sorry that I felt your terrible story was funny,,and then thank you to give me a laugh.
Oh, thanks for letting me know about a new expression, hand and gloves. I looked it up in Daum, but I couldn’t find the answer,so could you let me know what that means?
‘Hand and gloves’ means familiar, close to each other. Have a nice day.
