Hi, everyone. Today is closing day to write journals. I hope all of us earned various skills about writing through this cuorse, and can make great final essay. I think this course’s curriculum and learning atmosphere were good. I am grateful catched the chance to participate this course and studied efficient writing ways. Thank Gord Sellar and you wholeheartedly. I expect to meet you again in intermediate writing course in next semaster. Good night!!

Do you know Vivien Leigh? She was the hero of Gone With the Wind. It is my most favorate movie, so I have seen this movie about five times. The movie was written by Margaret Mitchell( It had published a book at first), and the background is the Civil War of America. The movie is proud of scale and realistic description about the history and complete story construction. It has various attractions besides them, but most important reason that I love this movie is the hero, Vivien Leigh. She acted Scarlett O’Hara who was fascinated, polished, and foxy. Scarlett O’Hara had contrary character. For example, she was cold to ther people, but frail to Aslee.(She loved her for a long time, but he was another woman’s wife.) She also had borned arrogance as high class origine, but show strong vitality for not be hungry. An actress who most fits to this complex chacacter was only Vivien Leigh, I’m sure. Her face, body, image, and acting ability was the best to take the role of Scalett. I have never seen more attractive foreign actress than her. Please, watch the movie, and meet her, if you haven’t seen her act.

Yesterday was dead line to apply assistant for Summer Junior English Camp in Catholic University. I tendered my application to Lifelong Education Center inGison Hall.I hope I am admitted to the assistant. I will take an interview for the part. Because the camp participators  has to almost use English while the camp period, candidator’s usual English conversation skill is important. I cannot speak English well, but I could improve my English conversation skill through this camp. I’m sure it is very good chance. I expect that I will take the interview well and work as the assistant in this summer vacation. I also wish I would meet the camp, if you offer the application for the part,too.

The past time, a Banquet on One´s 60th Birthday was very meaningful day, but nowadays it is not so special day compared with the past. My grandfather is 60 years at this year, but he didn’t want to have a banquet on his 60th birthday, too. It is unstained result, because people’s average age is longer more and more. The reason people took a Banquet on One´s 60th Birthday in the past time was people was dead until become 60-year-old, so they celebrated someome’s 60th birthday. While a Banquet on One´s 60th Brthday is not taken usually, a Banquet on One’s 70th Birthday and 80th. These parties are have the same meaning with 60th party, but they are more fabulous. At these days, almost relatives come toghther to the party place. They bring some presents, and they make a low bow politely to grandmother and grandfather who are the party’s heros. Theae are very loving and pleasant day. I want that People become more health, 70th party could common birthday like theses day’s 60th banquet by good meaning.

Today I went to dermatology that famous for pimpme treatment with my cousin. She entered unversity this year. She has beautiful face and slender figure, but she has a big worry about appearance. It is acne. Unfortunately the acnes offend pretty freshman’s mind, so I took her the hospital. The hospital’s service was very good. Doctor and nurses were kind. There was a important problem, however. It was cure cost. We have known that pimple cure relatively expensive than other diseases because medical insurance is not applied to acnes. At ordinary times, I don’t  understand  why the pimple is not classified in medical area. I think it is not beaty area simply because acne hurt someone’s mind who has that, and it makes his face seemed to not good, also it is too many people’s disease and worry. Nevertheless, Gorverment don’t assign the acne to medical insuarance’s area. Anyway, we couldn’t be unsurprised though we know pimple’s cost system. It was too expensive that a student be equal to the cost. My cousin told me ” I don’t believe this receipt’s cost.” Several famous pimple special hospitals recieve not-fair cost under the penalty of fame.I tkink this way have to  break down.

Today I spend time in Cheonggye Stream. Nowadays I was tired because several circumstances that pressing me. For example too much homewoks, not enough time(time always flow too fast especially when I need more), plan for summer vacation. I felt I need some break, so I went to Cheonggye Stream. Cheonggye Stream had decorated newly, and opened to public last year. After open, Cheonggye Stream has recieved much love from Korea nation. While the Cheonggye altering work had been progressing, there are worry and  discontents. The voice’s reasons were the work could damage enveronment and bereave people’s lives wlo lived around Cheonggye Stream, but the goverment went forward the work with give some alternatives about the voices. Now Cheonggye Stream transformed to public’s new rest place in the city, and It became Seoul’s one of the beatiful celerbrated place. I hope Cheonggye Stream will be the best place that gives corfort to me and public forever.

Mice are very disgusting animal because they move germs, have horrible appearances, and even the carcass is terrible. First, they spread germs to people. Because they live men’s house out of sight, they pass some disease on to the person who lives in the house. For example, man caughts bacteria if he eats the food that mice left. Second, they have horrible appearances. For instance, there are  long long tail, gray and shot fur, and creepy eyes like seeds. I have been frightened to see a mouse’s a full body and too long tail accidently. Finally, even the carcass is terrible. Whatever mice or other animals, carcass is terrible. The mice’s carcasses, however, are manytimes put on ground, a bridge, and a basement that people’s general life places, so people shock to see them by chance. It is the reason mice’s carasses are more fearful. That’s why I think that mice are disgusting animals. How do you think about?

I’m looking for my summer vacation part- time job. Because I am plannng to trip to New York in this winter vacation. The reasons I decided New York to my  destination are I want to experience the culture of English-speaking peoples and meet my grandmother who had lived in it. I formed the stand for select job. First, the job is  related my major or my carrer. If I take English teacher assisstance, it would help to improve my English ability and to write my career on application paper for get my own occupation.  Second, it havn’t to hold too much time in a day. For example, it must finish until evening, or it have to start after morning. I hope I can use rest of the working time studing my major, doing many various experiences, and enjoying my youth. Finally, it have to guarantee optimum pay that proper my labor’s quality and quantity. I don’t want not-suited pay, too high and too low. Although I don’t know weather I could find the job that include opper stands or not, I wish I spend valuable summer vacation with good job.

Today I went to Yeouido to have a dinner and a break time in Han Gang with my friend. I ate delicious dish in Mexican food restaurant. In spite of  Sunday, there are a little customers. The reason may is that Yeouido is Building wood. (In Sunday, officers usually do not go to their office.) I won the restaureant lottery to offer some dish. My friend I were very surprised. We were pleasant becase of the unexoected fortune. After the dinner, we went to Han Gang. At the place, we spent comforable and carefree times. We watched some persons doing in-line skating, or we talked about old wive’s fables.  At the time the sunset comed down, we left that place to go back our homes. The Unfortune appeared on going home. When I was riding escalator, My left lense falled off suddenly. My friend and I serched it, but we could not see it anywhere. I dissapointed very much because it was not long since I had bought it. Today is a fortune day or an unfortune day?

Abraham Lincoln is one of the great president in America. He was not only pretty honorable person as a man but also a pregident. Because he was honest , not arrogant, and a man of industry.

 First, he was honest. Before he elected to the president, he had been working as a postmaster. One day he became keep public money 20 dollar. Later some years, he changed his job to a law officer, and in a while, post office’s staff required the money. Lincoln gave him the 20 dollar that was lefting untouched 20years. He had not touched the public money even once.

 Second, he was not arrogant. Whenever  he decided the important cases, he made a habit of discussing with men under him. He didn’t like to give orders not hear other people’s opinions. He believed many people’s thoughts make the better solutions than only one person’s opinion.

 Finally, he was a man of industry. His word shows his the charhcter. He has said that the influential leader goes forward continually not stop. He also failed several times in the pregident election, he  didl’t give up, and he became the 16th president of America.

 Like these, he had  good attitute to win repect. I  honor him, too.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart had tragic life despite people remember him as a genius in classic music. Becase he was poor, and he died of a disease of unknow etiology. He also didn’t break down the barrier of classes

 First, he lived in indigence. He earned much money by composing credictable tunes and playing them, but he had overspending habit. This leaded him to poverty. For example, he borrowed much money from his family or friends while he worked a famouse musician, and when he died, there is no money to hold the funeral.

 Second, he died of a disease. There are many guesses about the cause of his death, but the cause have not unknown. He died after fifteen days that he had got the disease.

 Finally, he didn’t free from classes in spite of his effort for breack down the barrier of classes. For instance, he became a member of a club that against class distinction, and he told many people ” My music is for everyone.”

 That’s why I think that Mozart leaded tragic life. He even though had many troubles in his life, his tunes has remained as most beautiful music in history.

Yesterday, I went to my senior’s wedding seremony. The place was near by Hong Ik University, and the opening was 2 o’clock. I arrived that almost about one- twenty. Because I didn’t talk with her if I got there almost 2 o’clock, and I hoped to take some pictures with her personally. There was an another important reason however. I had promised to play a wedding march on a piano. I don’t play a piano well, but a wedding march is not a so difficult tune, and I had felt appreciation about asking me to play that.That’s why I had accepted her request. The more approached the openning, the more I got nervous. The openning began at last, I played the piano without a mistake by good fortune. I never forget the bride and the groom’s happy expressions. I desire them to make most beautiful living.

It is rocated near line 6. There is a mini lake. The water is clean. So I can see the bottom of the lake with gravel, and there are some kinds of fishes like carp or gold fish. Because it is a manmade lake, it’s surrounding is tastefully laid out. For example,Wooden three flights of stairs are placed roundly arround the lake. They have narrow stripe as natural wood, and it’s color is dark brown. The water in the lake overflows to undermost the stairs. Many people look sunset sitting the wooden stairs comfortably. There are also many trees including I haven’t seen. The section is devided by the kind of tree so  I can see small areas consists up one sort of tree. One is needle-leaf tree section, other is broad-leaf tree section. Or one is tall-tree area, other is short-tree area. The sections are placed  along the path, and some natural wooden chairs are there the color is same with the wooden stairs. What place is this?

She has straight hair essentially, but now her hair is long waved by perm. Her wavy hair is not too narrow, and the color is black. So her hair is very beautiful and natural. Last class, she didn’t wear make-up, but it seemed to do her face on because of her smooth skin. She don’t have any trouble and color spot on face. She weared a white three-quarter-length jaket with wellow stripe, a deep blue jean, low green colored shoes with some decoration beads that looked very comfortable. She also weared tiny and glittering cubic earings like diamond. She looked like a spring girl.

Last friday, 2006 Posco Campus Sympony Festival was held at 5 o’clock in CUK. I had waited with eager anticipation for this concert. Because this festival’s conductor was Nanse Gum, and he is a famous conductor of the world. Fortunately, I and my friend were addmitted into concert hall.(It was free concert.)  Maestro Nanse Gum explaned about tune that was scheduled to perform and composer(Mozart) with wit before start to play. I admired his sense of humor and skill to make audience comfortable. Performance was great. Maestro Nanse Gum, pianist Heekyung Jeong, and players of Euro-Asian Philharmonic made beautiful music. Althogh I didn’t know about classic music very well, his interesting explanation and their completeness play was enough to impress me. Thanks Posco and this colleage for give the chace to listen beautiful music. It is spring and we are twenties. Enjoy the music!!

A recipe for delicious toast!!

We need to prepare 2 slice of bread, 1 egg, some sugar, 3 table spoons of oil(bean oil or olive oil),  some salt, 1 can of kiwi fruit sauce. First, heat up a frying pan. Second, bake 2 slices of bread in an toast-oven. Third, fry 1egg squarely on heated frying pan, and srinkle some salt on the fried egg. Fourth, spread two spoons of kiwi sause on a side of heated each slice bread . Next, put fried egg on a slice bread, and sprinkle some sugar. Then, put aonther slice bread on it. Finally, serve them on a pretty plate.

 

Today is Easter. So I received some Easter eggs in this morning at the church. Untill a few years ago figures on the Easter eggs were painted directly by person. I am used to draw some pictures and letters on the Easter eggs myself, too. But nowadaysmany people pack eggs easily.When I went my church yesterday, I saw this easy way. First, wrap the egg a vinyl packing sheep.(Vinyl packing sheeps that decorated beautiful pictures and letters for Easter eggs are on sale some stores.) Second, put them boiled water just a second. Finally, serve them a pretty basket. We could make hundreds of Easter eggs in a short time. Although I miss Easter egg that is decorated by  hand, I am happy because I can make Easter eggs more comfortable and neatly.Do you want have some Easter eggs? I will give you!!

Today I was in my house all day for study. Usually every Saterday I have some meeting with my friend or take a good rest. But I have not made any appointment for this weekend since this Monday because midterm is going to start on next Thursday. I thought that studying in my room is more comfortable and efficient. Because I have no need to waste time if I don’t go library of my colleage. Contrary to my expectation, I have not done anything since morning. I didn’t concerntrate my work because TV, a conversation with my family, a relaxed atmosphere, etc. When I study at the library, I lose track of time because I concerntrate my study by academic atmosphere. After all,library is best place for study. Next Weekdays I am going to be in library.

Every the end of the month, I worry about the cellular phone charge. Usually on the charge paper, more much amount of money is written than I have expected. I don’t understand well why the cellular phone charge is too expensive.

 Thesedays people use some kinds of communication means like internet (messenger or blog) or telephone. But only the charge of cellular phone is high. Wireless internet is mobile commucation mean,too. But its rate is not too expensive as cellular phone rate.

 SK telecom, LG telecom and KTF have to make reserchs of the ways to reduce the charge. Only offering many card services (mobile carrier card) is not the way for customer satisfaction.

 

If you think ‘rice is only food’, it is a misgudgment. Rice is not only food, but also cosmetics.

 From old times, one interesting story has been reporting. The content is that the maid who worked at kitchen of the palace had fine and white skin. Secret of beautiful skin was “rice water (water from the first washing of rice).”  Whitening and softning components are included in the rice. So women of old times used “rice water” when they washed the face.

 Although many times past, women ever love the rice as natural skin care item. But now you can use it more convenient, because there are various kinds of cosmetics including the rice. If you know about the rice’s merits for diet, you will be successful in fat reducing.

 First, the rice stays stomach longer. This feature gives you feeling of full stomach, so you can feel less hunger. It is very important trait for diet. Feeling not hunger is direct way to prevent eating too much.

 Second, “Gava” helps you. “Gava” is a substance of rice, and it removes some fat. That is to say, “Gava” burns your fat without hard exercises. Wow! It is suprising fact. Of course, “Gava” can’t get rid of very much fat, but it is happy news.

 Finally, rice keeps your blood sugar regularly. It means that rice prevents flowing out  of “Insulin.” Insulin helps making fat.

 Like thease facts, Eating rice is good for diet. If you want to reduce your fat, eat rice three times in a day regularly!!

 

Do you want to do Yoga? Or are you doing Yoga now? Nowadays Yoga-fashion is very strong. Especially young womens(20~30generations)  does Yoga. Many Yoga-academies have been formed many places over the country. Even some entertainers have published some books or videos about Yoga. What merits move the women’s minds?

 There are two good things that Yoga gives you. One is that Yoga chang your mental condition. People take meditation while do Yoga. They threw out bad emotions and fill up their minds to posotive and good emotions through meditation.  So  they derive fresh and  not-confushion mental condition. It makes them healthy.

  Aonther good thing is about physical side. Yoga makes your muscles both flexible and strong. Mass muscles look bad, and put you tired. Yoga relaxes the mass muscles.Therefore your muscles couldl be soft and look beautiful, and tiredness would decrease. Beside Yoga makes your muscles powerful, so you could be  healthy more and more.

 Like this, Yoga gives mental and physical health to you. If you do Yoga, you will have confidence and possitive attitute toward your life. Start Yoga!!

Drinking injures you various ways.

First, there is high probability of alcohol addition.

Alcohol addition makes you don’t takes normal lives.

 Alcohl additioners  usually drinking all the time.

They don’t know when to work when to break.

So during morning or afternoon they get on beer or soju.

If they don’t get on alcohol, they will fell down mental confusion.

It’s core dangerous of addition.

Also heavy drinking cause liver damages.

Liver damage could kill you.

But liver don’t be exposed the progress of damage until that almost reach to ending.

So you will don’t know that you and your liver are going to die.

Finally drinking makes you unrational.

Actually many drunkers drive a car while on much drink.

It is not rational actions.

It is a crime.

But alcohol makes you don’t right judgement.

Drink driving could causes killing the driver and other innocence people.

Drinking could hurt you and  also kill you. You will have to remembe thr danger of alcohol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’m a highschool-part teacher at my church.

So every sunday I have conversation time with my students.

I want to talk about their life and mind.

In other words, I strive for hear my students’ worry and talk my experiences about that and pray for them.

But teenagers are adolescent boys and girl.

So they express rebellious spirits or shyness or other complex feelings.

For example, someone doesn’t look up his face while my class going on.

Or almost of them don’t  long-answer  to my questions.(answer “yes” or “no”)

Or one man puts a stony face.

I understand their respons but I feel difficulty.

When we has better conversations, sharing each other’s mind will be  easy.

I pray Iwill be a good teacher to my students.

And I hope that I will take care them better than now and make more comfortable our relationships.

I love all of them….

Last weekdays I had bought a T-shirt online but I have returned it this morning.

Because the quality.

Purchasing something on internet has two sides.

One is a positive side that is convenience.

Going to a store(off-line) is unnecessary and looking round many goods at the same time is possible.

So it can save time and labor.

Another one is a negative side. 

Sometimes goods are different with pictures of the online-shopingmall.

For example color, quality and shape.

So I should return such bad goods.

It is complex. And it takes some money.(transportation costs )

Goods on internet will have to be improved their quality more securely.
