Elementary Composition – Night

In the world, there are some scary things. Firstly, it is Malaria. Malaria spreads easily because mosquito can infect people with that disease. Next, people sometimes wear shiny and expensive diamond. It is possible for theives to steat it. So, they should be careful not to be stolen. Then it is a lion. If you meet him by chance, he might attack you. So, you should avoid him so that you can`t be in the risky situation. Finally, because a tiger enjoys eating humans and other animals, he may attack you.

He has an intelligent, pretty, and sincere girl friend. What he strongly hope is that he get married with her in the future. So, he makes an effort to get the national certificate of tax accountant and stays at ” Sin Rim Dong “where there are many students who prepare for an examination. Most men in Korea need to get the stable gobs because it helps them to make an excellent household. Because he does his utmost to reach it, I am sure that he will pass the test. He is highly weary. So, he needs to keep good health so that he can work on that study harder

Han A has an unusual friend whose name is Na Rae, and she is one of Han A’s high school friends. Her character is quite strange. For example, when Han A met her for the first time, she introduced herself with her dream which was to die. Plus, her on-line nickname and ID was “son of dark.” However, she seems normal in some respects. For instance, she gets along with many friends, and she has a good sense of humor.

My partner has blue eyes and brown hair. He looks definitely different from others in our class. He is heavy and average in height. His hair is short, and he is wearing small black glasses. Plus, he is wearing a small round Indian style earring on his left ear. His face is hairy with beard and mustache, and his lips are small and thin. He is in a blue dress shirt and dark grey stripe pants.

Hi~ Long time no see. I had not written my composition for a long time. I slip my mind what to do. I had problems about my work. I often wondered because of my future filled fear. And I met my girl friend after a long time (about more than three years). Although I knew my English skill is very low, I did not my job. At this time, I recognized my errors. So I really want to do my best my job. I shortly got hair cut such as a soldier for my mind. I want to new start before too late. And I am really sorry  for my teacher.

 Today, I discussed about gays and homosexualities with my Conversation Class teacher in the hak-won.(I don’t know how to call this place in English.) Because other students were very quite and didn’t talk much, I could talk about a lot of the things I had wondered, and ask many questions. The Canadian teacher who came to Korea about two months ago advised me to avoid wearing feminine colors, because they might think I am a gay. I asked why there are so many gays and homos in western countries, and he said there would be many gays in Korea also. I have never seen that kind of people in Korea, so I said it’s untrue, but he seemed to not believe it. Anyway it was interesting conversation. After the class, on the way to go home, I realized I am wearing a light green shirt. I forgot to say to him that in Korea it’s ok for men to wear any colors. I hope he doesn’t think I’m a gay.

 One year ago, I took a religion course which was a compulsory course. The professor was a young priest. He lectured on the ‘New age phenomenon’ for a semester, and I really hated him for the whole semester. I hated him, because I didn’t like his way of teaching it. It seemed that he taught us something that even he couldn’t understand. Apparently, he didn’t have the ability to teach. He might be a great scholar, but he wasn’t a good teacher. He gave me C+, so I really hated him. I didn’t absent any single day, and I did my best on the test. Because I considered that I didn’t learn anything from his class, I hated him. I thought that he wasted my time.

 I’d like to describe one of our classmates. She is tall, and her height is over five feet six inches. She has long brown wavy hair, and it comes down to her back. She has arched eyebrows, and its color is dark brown. She doesn’t have eye lids, but she has long lashes. She doesn’t wear glasses. Her ears are little bit small, and they are cute. Her lips are rather thick, and the corners of her lips are uplifted slightly. Her build is neither thin nor big, she has a normal build with long legs. Her fingers are really long, and she has a manicure on her nails which are pink. She wears a pink jacket and blue jeans. Can you guess who she is?

Nowadays, I am ready to write a resume, but it is so shy for me to put my careers. Because I have few careers, there are many blanks in my resume. Also, many companies require if we have some experiences which are study abroad or not. As I don’t have them, I think l had better go abroad to study this summer. This is why I apply Global Explorer Program. Anyway, I pass it, and I plan to study and travel. Even though it is very short, I want to do my best.

My friend BongBong is very lazy guy. BongBong is nick

name.

For example, he walks very slowly. Always , I walk in front of

him. So, I shout to him. ” hey BongBong, hurry up, hurry

up.” But he walks slowly. Another example, always he i late.

And when we meet, I call him before one hour. One  day, I

said him why e is late. He said me he tired. Sometimes, I

was angry. But now, I understand him. It’s his character.

I have a cousin sister. Her name is Mi-Ju. She was selfish from her girlhood. For example, when she was young, she ate a food with both hands. She liked pretty stuff. If she didn’t have that, she cried all day long. When she have that she was satisfied. For example, I was usual dispossessed my doll, headbands and pens. I was afraid of her visiting. she is growing more and more beautiful with the years but her avarice is unchangeable. I think that she will be unchangeable.

He works at the trade company, but my classmate ” Tae Kwang” is still student. They used to hace a drink at a bar. The most important fact is that he doesn`t like spending money despite his much salary. In addition, the fact that he wastes money he has earned for a month makes myclassmate feel abhorrent.

She is a close friend of my classmate “Sun Myung”. Even though she is friendly with Sun Myung, she has a big fault which makes Sun Myung feel embarrassed. To illustrate, she earns 2 million won a month. However, she has never spent money. For instance, when they meet at any place, she is always late not to pay money. Moreover, she intentionally leaves the place very early. Her behavior always lets my classmate feel irritated.

1. His hair is curled a little and length is not short.

2. There is no a double eyeild.

3. He has mustache and beard.

4. He has big ears.

5. The upper lip’s thickness and  the lower lip is same.

6. I can see his clavicle so I think he is not fat.

7.There is one spot in his right hand.

8.His face is like a little five-cornered.

9.He is tall and he has long leg.

10. His face color is darkish a little.

11. He has thick eyebrows.

12. He doesn’t wear glasses.

I shoud write about unusal person just only one. Because I have no time to interview. So I want to write about me as unusual person. First, I enjoy to talk alone. I almost talk to me wherever I am. So sometimes my friend talk to me. “Who do you talk to someone? or, please stop to talk alone!!” Then I like to sing in the park in very deep night. Sometimes I sing alone in empty near park, and I really like it. But passerby looks me just like strange person. I feel this action is little bit strange and unusual. But I want to say it’s because I’m special!!

  My classmate has little bit unusual father. First, he is very interested in fashion. For example, a common man don’t like shopping. But, he is different. He likes to go to shopping. Especially, he loves department store. And then he likes to make himself as beautiful. One time, when my classmate was doing cosmetic pack, her father asked his daughter. “Is it good for skin?” So she said. “Of course, this is good.” After the time, he sometimes buy cosmetic pack. Even he use the pack of his daughter. Finally, his spending habit is unique. For instance, as you know, he spend money only good food and fashion. Her said. “My father is really unusual.” But I think,”He is cute guy interested in outlook.”

This place is very hot. Maybe people who like an ondol room loves here. There  are many rooms when you enter here. For example, bullgama room, oxygen room,  salt room, ice room, and so on. In this place, our clothes are wet with sweat. And   we go to here for Refreshed after fomentation. Other people go to here for talking or sleeping. A drunken or a hypertensive can’t enter here.  

 

 

I had a time to interview my classmate in Elementary Composition Evening class. I interviewed “J” who has friendly and cute eye is girl. I asked to her about her unusual friends. First question was whether you have met a unusual friends. She has been having a friend who has a unique voice. Her name is Hyun-mi. J said when she talk to her friends, she feel that it seem like to fight between her friends because of her tough voice like shouting rocker. furthermore, because her face is almost red like carrot in any time, it was similar to real situation. People who saw her first time could be regarded as a very excited woman, or people can misunderstand. For example, J met her friends to drink a beer in jong-ro. They arrived to the bar which was dark. They enjoyed drinking beer, and as time were going about 2hour. She, who had been having a unusual voice like shouting rocker, started to say to friends. Because of loud musics, she tried to talk to their friends loudly. At the time music was over, they could hear Hyun mi’s real shouting voice. J said to me “I remember exactly that suddenly we are shocked, our ears are attacked by her who has red face, she looks like Guan-wu who is one of the characters in the book called “Sam Guk Ji”. I tried to bear a laugh, it was so funny story to me. The fact that people have a unusual friends is a lucky. It is not only we can smile because of unusual friends but also we can learn to know by seeing ourselves in others.

Whenever I met a people, I have felt that there were so many people in our world. I had a chance to interview my classmate in our Elementary composition Evening class. Classmate whose name is “A”. He said that he did not want his name to be written in a blog. “A” met a friend whose name is yong gun Incidentally, he is a student in Catholic university. “A” said he seldom go to the university. He hate what he get up early. Although I asked to him “Why he doesn’t want to go to the university?”, I did not listen to that reasons. He did not interest about his credit, but he want to play computer games in Pc room. I could not interview him because given time to us is over. I think that he is so unusual. I would like to ask somthing to ”A”. “How did he manage his credit?” and ”How grade did his credit record?”  

I interviewed Jun-Haeng and listened about his brother, Ji-Haeng. He is a little unusual person. Jung-Haeng said he is crazy about hiphop. He is a real hip-hopper. For example, he never listen to other music except hiphop. He always listen to only hiphop music almost every day. He loves hip-hop so much that he always wears hiphop fashion. For example, he wears hiphop fashion on a wedding party or somewhere people are supposed to wear formal suit. I could see how much he loves hiphop through his favorite singers. For instance, all the singers he likes are black people, and he thinks black women are more beautiful than white women because there are more black hiphop musicians than white in the world. I have some friends similar to him too. Maybe there is some powerful attraction in hiphop. 

My classmate had a friend who was very strange in high school. I heard she behaverd unusually. For example, she always brought lunch and dinner from home, even though other friends used cafeteria in dinner. She had unusual thinking. For instance, if any teacher explain about something, she asked strange questions. Because of that case, her friends said like this. “You will become a great copyright.” But it’s true that her action is strange. She often talked with unfamiliar friends. For example, she was going coeducational school, and she often talked with boys, though she wasn’t on good terms with them. In conclusion, it seems that my classmate met really strange friend in high school.

I interviewed with junhang and he said that he has a unusual friend. His name is Oh, hyun ju. Junhang said he is really unusual. He thinks that he is really get closed with everybody who he acquainted with. Even if all the neighborhoods consider him as just somebody they know, he think that he is really closed with all of them. For example, he send text message to all the neighborhood and say hello without considerating relationship between them. He send a letter message to the people who are not closed with him, and many people get embarrassed. Many girls are embarassed because he seems like working on them. He is really naive, and he trust somebody easily. He is more than 25years old, but his soul is like childeren. In this kind of complicated sociey, person who trust his acuaintance easily is really unusual and unique.   

My friend is really stingy. He hate to spend money and never spend money on anything but eating food. For example, he never buy his clothes until it is destroyed by itself. He doesn’t care about his appearance and clothes. So his fashion is rustic and a little bit nasty. But he never buy clothes before his mother buying him a new clothes. For instance, he doen’t keep money in his pocket more than 5000 won. So whenever he face the situation that he has to pay for some thing, he can get out of the situation and he also refrain himself from spending money.  

Many people think. Early studying abroad is not good. But,  I think early studying abroad has some positive sides. Because, if children are sent abroad at an early age, they will , by coming in contact with foreign people and their customs and manners, abtain a broader view of life.

Concentration is very important. Because, concetration makes work better. Learn to concentrate as early in life as possible. Concentration is the ability to keep your thoughts and attention on one fact until you know it thoroughly. It is a habit that you must possess if you are really to succeed.

Min-Ho is Jung-Myoung’s high school friend. He has many good points, but He too love save money. he don’t like spend money for his friend. That is his big weakness. For example, She met him in school store at one time. He paid some eating for her. They was talking merrily untill another friend came to them. He mischievously ask for paying some eating to Min-Ho. But he spoke in stiff manner, and  refused his ask. Min-Ho didn’t want to spend money for him. Because He didn’t spend money for Min-Ho. However Jung-Myoung bought dinner for Min- Ho.

Jung-eun’s sister is unusual. Because her sister cling to diet. For example, she always never eat food after 6 o’ clock p.m. Also, although she weight 45kg, she still isn’t satisfied and she take exercise every day.

 This place is separated two part by sex. Everyone have to go there everyday. There is conveniently mirror. We can wash our hand in there. There are many resemblingly doors. Most of that place are composed sleek tiles. That is essential place to people, but they don’t like that place. Because that have bad smell. Sometimes that place is used talking in secrecy for women. Do you know this place?

Dear Duncan,

My name is Gord. Maybe you don’t remember me, because I left Canada a long time ago. You’re a pretty stupid dog, so I guess it’s possible you forgot me. I am your master’s brother. I was thinking about you and I thought I’d write you a letter.

I was thinking about you because I think you’re very lucky to have my sister as your master. Have you ever realized that? I think you probably haven’t realized that, because you’re even dumber than most dogs! But you really are very lucky, because your master Annie is patient, generous, and kind to you.

First of all, Annie is always patient with you. She doesn’t get angry when you make a mess. For example, you once vomited on her bed, but she didn’t get angry. She just put you outside, and cleaned up the mess. She also never annoyed with you, even though sometimes you disturbed her life. For instance, you often made loud sounds and barked at the neighbour’s dog. However, Annie didn’t mind. She just accepted that as part of your personality, and that helped her to be very patient with you.

Next, Annie is generous to you. She always gives you treats and wonderful snacks. For instance, she bought you tasty dog bones for Christsmas, and last year she even bought you doggy-chocolates! She was also generous with her time. For example, she was always happy to take you for a run, or to play with you when you felt lonely. I think you had a much more generous master than other dogs.

Finally, I think Annie was also so kind to you. I remember her always being gentle with you. For example, when you were a puppy and your legs hurt because you were growing, she would hug you and play with you until the pain stopped. She also never punched or kicked you like some kids do when their dogs are misbehaving. For example, you once knocked her down the stairs. She fell on her head, and she was very dizzy and frustrated, but she didn’t even shout at you! She just said, “That’s okay, Duncan made a mistake.” I think very few dogs have such a kind master, don’t you?

For all of the above reasons, I think you’re such a lucky dog. I hope that you are very thankful for this, and that you remember this fact. Next time you see Annie, wag your tail very hard and give her a nice big lick on the face. She will appreciate it, and you will feel good showing your love to your wonderful master. I forgot to mention in class — your letter doesn’t have to be serious. You can discuss the class, but you don’t have to. I’d be just as happy if you wrote about how you feel about school in general, or discussed something else altogether. The exercise is just to write a letter in the format above, using all the writing skills we’ve learned in a slightly new context. One note: it’s important to remember to indent your letter — I can’t indent this because it’s on the internet! Also, please remember to double-space your letter when you type it for me! Any questions?

UPDATE: I don’t want to add pressuring homework to your workload, so I’m going to do the following: as long as the letter shows evidence of real effort, and includes some of the techniques we studied in class, then you get a check mark for it. All that needs to happen is I receive it, and read it, and you get a check mark, which is towards your homework grade. If you write a letter using none of the techniques we studied (and reminded ourselves about), then you get an X and your homework mark will not benefit from the assignment. I think that’s better for you than extra stressful homework. So relax, and have fun with this assignment. You’re very free to write whatever you like.
