Elementary Composition – Night

“I really want to go to the military service” Have you ever heard this statement? This statement was used from any company. As soon as this advertisement came out, its statement became a word on every-body’s lips. Also it remained the Korean people to go to the military service. I think every man who are good for health should enter the army. If everybody didn’t enter the army, how we would live in safety? When we were menaced by national security, we would scrap a living from day to day. Thus, We should know that national security is the best problem for us. In this way, what should we do to defend the country? We have an obligation to keep our liability for military service, and we have to perform our duty. Also, in Korea it is really importance to go to the military service. For example, some of entertainers are in difficulty, because they didn’t go to the army. Won-Bin, who is famous for actor in Korea, was a discharge from service due to family hardships. Even if it is truth, he may spend hard time because of it. 

Falling asleep is very important. Everybody knows it. However, many people have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep for an adequate amount of time. We called it insomnia. The sleep makes us comfort. “For he grants sleep to those he loves” This sentence is written in Bible, and it means the sleep is a present from God. We know well the importance about sleep like this. Then, how do we solve this well? I think there are three most commonly proposed solutions to this insomnia problem, which we can solve by taking shower of warm water before you fall asleep, regular exercise and regular life pattern. It is my best things to solve when I can’t fall asleep. 

I agree that many people serve their time in prison and are released, but they end up committing another crime and return to prison. I think it is why the criminal justice system doesn’t function well, so we have to make some programs to improve them who are in prison. First of all, we have to educate them, keep strongly the law, and never treat them with discrimination. “There is no need of pleonasm on the importance of education.” Everybody knows that education is the best power to develop our country. Every year so many people are released, but they can’t anything. Why? Because they don’t have anything skills. Even if they want to work, how can they work well without skills? Every korean should finish secondary education, but there are a lot of people who have not finished secondary education yet. In conclusion, I can understand that we are afraid of them. However, if we changed our mind, we could feel fear little. Prisoners can become better than before, and we have to help them to make their reform a success. We are not different from each other.  Everybody wishes to develop them, live with them well. Therefore, let’s educate, keep to the law, not treat them with discrimination for establishing a lasting peace.

In our world, there are so many teachers, and I have met a lot of teachers through my school life. As we know, teaching is very important. If teachers don’t teach well, our country will undermine the foundation of state. Even though teachers are very important, there are many various styles of teachers. We could know there are 3 types of teachers we have known, those who are very impressive, indifference and up and down. As there are so many teachers, there can be some problems. As everybody knows, education is very important. Therefore we should extend school education. “Primary education forms the groundwork for building up a man’s character.” It may mean that education must be not ignored. Also, we can say education depends on teachers. If we meet good teachers, we may develop much better than now. Of course it doesn’t mean as we don’t meet good teachers, we can’t develop. It means teachers can give me chances to develop. Also, we should make teacher’s training school a lot. First of all we should not only focus on ability to be teachers. We should know not only ability but also humanity. Sometimes humanity is more important. I think teachers should be estimated by students, because teachers need to educate to teach students. As teachers were educated well, they might inspire us. Therefore, I wish almost all our teacher were respected by their students. 

By the age of 16, I was admitted into Sun-Rin commercial high school. In there I had met a teacher who I was affected. He was a very disciplinarian. If someone had faults, he flogged mercilessly. Almost all students were afraid of him, but I was not. I thought he was a man among men, because he usually applauded students if they were deserved admiration. He was my class teacher in one grade. He suggested me to be a class monitor. As I wanted to be a class monitor, I accepted his suggestion. As I was a strong candidate^^(because I had a lot of friends in our class), I got elected a class monitor. Even though he was a very disciplinarian, he was indulgent with me, and I persevered in my efforts because of him. I wanted him to gladden, and I was always proper in my behavior. In that ways I had learn honesty, sincerity and endurance. I had had no dream until I met him. Now I have dream which is teacher for students. I know that I still have a long way to go to achieve my ultimate goal. However I have strong faith that I can do it, because he has taught me a lot. Nowadays, I really meet him again to appreciate it. 

It is really hot day, and makes me discourage. I think I am really strong during summer, but I am exhausted because of weather. However, it is cool to spend time in library to read comic book. Even though I was not going to read comic, I did to avoid being exhausted. Its title is “Touch,�? and I don’t know its mean because I don’t read all, but it is really interesting. As there are 10 volumes, it will take long time. So you had not better read because it may waste time. However if you read that book, you may not be able to read. If you want to read, contact me, and I will give you. Anyway, I was really happy to meet you in Gord’s class. Have a nice summer vacation.

 It was difficult for women to work in 1970, so there were not many women to work in society. However, the present state raise the social status of women, and it is no trouble for them to work better than before. Also women can work in various fields of society. Of course, it doesn’t mean that women can work whenever and wherever they want. They can just work easily better than before. Anyway, it is possible to be President of woman in Korea?

It is very important to memorize English words as much as possible. Also, it is very boring and hard to maintain, but there is a key to memorize well. It is a group of vocabulary study. Even though it is only my experience, it has been very useful to develop my English ability. In 2004, my classmates suggested “let’s make study group to memorize English words.�? It was very interesting, so I decided to do it as soon as I could. There were some rules to keep us. First, we should not be absent. If we did, we should give a little penalty. Second, if we were mistaken, we should pay a little money each per mistake. Lastly, if anyone was the most mistaken, he must make a next exam paper. It might give you a lot stresses, nerves and upset, but it was easy to solve pass by. How about starting right now?

As my graduation is drawing near, I should ready for getting employment. When I was in fresh-man, I didn’t care to get employment. Neither did my sophomore and junior. I really regretted that I didn’t care. Even though I regret my past, I never give up my dream. So, I am preparing to develop my asset. I don’t know if I can get employment as good as possible, but I will do my best not to regret when I graduate my school.

There was a heavy rain yesterday, so my clothes were absolutely wet. If I get wet because of rain, I will have a fit of anger. However, I felt different like usual, because it didn’t rain for a long time. I used to feel unpleasant when it was rain, but I don’t know why I was glad to feel. I just felt cool because of the sound of rain. After it was over, when was dawn, I came out of library to go my home. At that time my school was wrapped in a dens fog. Can you imagine that sight? How so wonderful! Even though I felt so tired, I couldn’t feel any tired because of its scene. Through my experience, I could love my school more than before.

Even though I don’t know well about Africa, it is very interesting. They almost don’t wear clothes. Neither did women. Whenever I watched TV about Africa, I thought they were very pathetic. However, it is my mistake because they could enjoy life through their methods. Everybody must not judge which culture is superior. Some of them wore necklace, it is diamond. People wore diamond, so I thought it was common. Sometime they fought beasts. How dangerous! One of the beasts is a lion, and another is a tiger. Of course, they could win, but they had a big hurt, too. Some people might die. Some tigers attacked people, because people invaded their routes. Even though it is very interesting to travel Africa, meet African, but it may dangerous.

When I was in middle school, I could meet a lot of friends. I hope to introduce one of my friends who met in middle school, because he is really good. My friend is very kind, so most of people like him. Whenever I had hard time, he would help me, and he never showed me hesitation. When I joined a band of bad boys in high school, he waited me all-night to meet me. Because he is ready to the Higher Civil Service Examination, he should study hard, but he treated that I am the apple of his eye. I always thank for him as well as help if he need me to help.

In this library there are some people who study hard. Even though it is hard to study because of sleep, they do it so well. I am in here too, but I don’t study my study efficiently. I want to study as much as I can, but I can’t, because I am so sad. Nowadays, I should ready to go UK, and it is really busy, so I can’t perform others. I should make my schedule well to spend my time well.

Nowadays, I am ready to write a resume, but it is so shy for me to put my careers. Because I have few careers, there are many blanks in my resume. Also, many companies require if we have some experiences which are study abroad or not. As I don’t have them, I think l had better go abroad to study this summer. This is why I apply Global Explorer Program. Anyway, I pass it, and I plan to study and travel. Even though it is very short, I want to do my best.

There are always so many people, and cars. There are also many tall buildings to shop. If I have to pass there, it may be stressful, because there is a traffic jam. Even though it is in mid-night, there is always a light glow of a neon sign. People who want to shop in night go there to buy clothes, shoes, cap, suit, even luxurious articles or they just want to window shopping. Recently, a number of couples go there to date. It is located in center of Seoul. Some theaters, restaurants, shopping malls and so on are there, so this is why people who like to hang out with their friends in night want to go there I think.

 I chose public housing system as our topic of Global Explorer Program. As you know, in many years Korea has suffered from problems of housing policies. It’s because we have wrong understandings of house. Mostly, we consider houses as a means to make money rather than a living space. It caused the house cost to increase sharply. So the low-income citizens have been in trouble getting houses and this in turn makes bigger and bigger their hostility against the rich people. Korea’s public housing system is not secure and has a long way to go. So I will want to visit Britain, one of the advanced countries with well-organized public housing system. I am going to analyze their public housing policy and find its good things.

She is short hair, and a little pretty. She always looks smile, and has little big eyes. Even though she is not tall, I think her tall is above the average. Also she looks so young comparing her age. As she is round-faced, her personality is good, too. She is a little popular in our class not men but women. She always wears contact lens, and she has not glasses. I have never seen her wearing the glasses.  Anyway, I will give you a big hint, which is that she is twins.

Last year, I went to this place with my friends. Maybe, it is a really good distance off from here to there. Because of the APEC so many presidents in the world, included the United State of America’s president, were invited to discuss. There are very beautiful sights, where can’t forget. Sea is so pure, beautiful and nice. Through we travel there, we could know APCE as well as this place. Also, its sea is famous for going beyond Pacific.

I have two majors, which are English and Management. Even though, English is difficult to ready the Exams, I could ask my classmates, but Management is not. As I don’t know well management’s people, it is so stressful for me to ask something which are related in management. Especially, there is a so difficult subject. The name of subject is “integer programming,’ and it is not only difficult but also written English. Also it needs to require mathematic skills. Whenever I looked it, I was very very depressed. Anyway, I should look for some guys who know its subject well. Even if that I have to study is pressured, it is more pressure that I should need look for some guys. Let’s study hard in class, and don’t have an ulterior motive.

Most korean like fry rice cake, we called it ”DDUK BBOK GI”,  because it is a light meal, cheap, and there are many stores which sell it. That is, wherever we go, we can eat that as easily as we can.

So, how about learning fry rice cake? Ok. Let’s make fry rice cake. 

First of all, we have to buy ingredients of this food, which are garae rice cake, onion, carrot, cabbage, Korean hot pepper paste, glutinous starch syrup, sesame, green onion, broken garlic, oh deung, then, we should handle with care to cook.(it means that all of the vegetables should rinse, and cut in order to suiting your taste) 
First, prepare soft Garae rice cake which should slice as you want, but if it is hard, it would better put boiling water for 10 minutes, in the course of time, clean all of the vegetables, and slice oh deung, and chop up all of the vegetables as you want to adjust moderate size. 

Second, stir glutinous starch syrup into Korean hot pepper paste, and roast them with sesame in a bowl. Then, pour hot water (if you don’t prepare it, you could pour tap water, but it is better pouring hot than tap) in it.

Third, put your all vegetables in the bowl, and boil it until almost boiling soup away.

Then, when soup was boiled away, put garae rice cake and Oh Dang to mix them about 5 minutes. Also if you want, you could put some sugar, soy sauce, and pepper as you want to suit your taste. Also, it is better to spread some cheeses over fry rice cake.

Finally, place it in a dish. Is it good? So how about trying now?

I can’t feel any good taste about Green Tea, but it is rally popular. I just feel a bitter taste. I had better drink Doonglere Tea, recommend it. It is very wonderful I think. Whenever I drink, I feel so delicate flavor. Of course, I sometime drink Green Tea, but I just drink, and because I have no choice, or I don’t like to drink coffe. But I hope to feel ang good taste about Green Tea, are there some tips?  or whould you teach me how Green Tea taste? 

Recently, I study in library, and it give me so pleasure. Because in library I could meet so many friends who study so hard, I think I have to study as hard as I can. Also, as my semesters remain 2(incloud this semester), I should need imformation about companies. We have shared what we have, and it is really assets for me. Of course, I regret that I should studied early, but it is no use crying. I hope to enter a very good company, or graduated school. Therefore, I will study in this library untill I graduate. I allways shout “cheer” or “I can do it” in the privacy of my thoughts.

A month ago, my niece ate rice, and she looked so thin. So her parents were warried about her. So was I. Recently, she grows so fast, and we never know if she was thin or not. I got surprised, and I think most children used to look thin when they were a baby. But it is not true. How can I know? A month ago(it is same time when my niece ate rice) I had to say my friend, Ran-Dol, whice is my pet, because of my mother. He looked so thin, too. So, I often went to the pet clinic. He was always powerless, and I had to be worried about him as often as I can. In last weekend, I went to my friend home whice is Yeu-Ju in Kyeng ki do to meet my pet. As soon as I met my pet, I got surprised. He became really, really strong. He barked as loud as he could. I had never seen such looking before. I thought carefully on my home in the bus. I could know how he became strong. My niece and my pet have something in common, and it is rice.  At that time, I could know rice could make us strong even if animal.  

Koreans usually eat rice, and we can call it the staple food. But it is unsavory. Is it true? Of course, everyday, I eat it, but not alone. Boiled rice should eat with subsidiary articles of diet. They must be together, and it is perfect. If we eat only boiled rice, we might not eat as we usually eat. So our traditional food could develop greately. Also, if we eat only boiled rice, it causes us so fat, but we don’t eat only boiled rice, so it doesn’t cause us fat at all. In conclusion, “united we stand, divided we fall” it means the same goes for rice.

I wish I would pass global explorer program, but it is difficult to find out freshman or sophomore, because in this year our school doesn’t accept our application without  freshman or sophomore. So, we have to find them to go global explorer program. As I don’t know well my juniors how I can do it? I posted on cafe of our major, and I am waiting my cell phon for 3 days. However, nobody call me.

  How many people who are freshman or sophomore are there in this class? If you are them, how about preparing global explorer program with me?

So many people like to drink(even though some people like the environment of drinking), and it gives good points to them. However, it doesn’t always make good things. First of all, some people could have a big brute courage, if they were drunken. So, They caused many big problems. For example, they shouted at such a trifle as louldy as possible. Secondly, they sometimes fought one another or with foot passengers. Also, they teared down something. I don’t know why, of course they are, either. They, also, couldn’t temember what the did, so they didn’t apologize to a person who were treated. Therefore, I think we should control ourselves as we are drinking.
