Elementary Composition – Night

Samuel Huntington argues that America should stick to their Anglo-saxen value. And he also said that American identity will be threatened by the increasing number of Hispanic immigrant. And he argue that America will be ruined in a short period if they failed to protect Anglo-saxon value like English, Protestantism. The recent anti immigration Act reflect that kind of anxiety from the conservative majority group. It is obvious that Anglo saxon value is core culture of Amrica, but the most important force to move the American society forward is originated from pursuit of diversity. The particular ability of America is originated from the competition and understanding between diverse race group, and it make Americans different from others. The new nationalism of Samuel Huntington will give harmful influence to the diversity of America in any measure.

American tried to solve most of problem by law. They are too often institute a suit against the other people, and the litigation case which is take place in America is much higher than the other society. I think this evident that the American society is not a good place for normal person live. Larger number of litigation case means that they don’t trust each other and they don’t treat each other with respect. They don’t have confidence about people’s heart.

A third of Koreans are connected by regionalism and kinship. It might be natural thing because too many people live in small territory. So many Koreans are belong to various kind of social gathering. In average one person are belong to more than 5 social gathering like highschool, elementatry school, college, military, religion, and same home town gathering. And they impose a significance on how many social gathering he belong to and how many people he know.

Japanese never talk directly to someone becauese they want to avoid the conflict with others. So foreinger are often misunderstand their intention. Japnanes are really eager to maintain peaceful relationship with other groups in their country because they know they cannot go far away from their land. If the civil war broke out in island, they cannot run away. They have to fight until one of them demolished. So they have storing mind that they should avoid the conflict in anyway. Japan’s indirect culture is originated from that.  

Affirmative action was specifiied in 1964 by president Johnson’s adminitrative order. After civilize movement, the public opinion for amelioration of racial discrimination environment had arouse, and affirmative action was reflection of that kind of spirit. There were many resistenc from white majority group after Reagan administration.But the resistence toward affirmative action was originated from the self defense in social resoure competition, rigid conservative value, and the lack of recognition toward the environmental and cultural situation of minority group. So the affirmaive action should reflect the social circumstance and demand within the boundary of social justice, and pursuit of diversity.
 

As compare with other country, koreans have extreme personality. Something which is extreme means that it is strong, rigid, and strong willed. But in the other end, extremity means that it is far away from normal thing. Koreans have both of things. For example, i cannot help raising the korean food. Most of korean foods are hot spicy or salty. The most hot spicy food for me is hot spicy fish soup and hot spicy cold noodle. Koreans are tend feel satisfied after they eat something hot spicy or grilled. And Korean’s fastest economic growth, franticall strong wind to ecuaction, and how fast the christianity spread out in korea reflect Korean’s extreme personality.

As soon as the final exam finished, i want to take trip to the beach or mountain. I think that this semester was really hard for me. There were too many assignment and exam. I felt the depth of study level through this semester. I was not afford to do the thing which i want in this semester. So i want to leave for somewhere. Although there are no person to accompany with me, i want to leave any way. Most of my friens are busy and they don’t want to go travel with male together. Regardless of the others I have to get out of this school.  

There are positive point and negative point of watcing TV. But i cannot live without TV and the TV is beneficial to our life for several reason. First, the TV provides a good source of dialogue rather than dstroying the dialouge between friend and family. Even if someone worry that TV might reduce the dialogue, i think the TV give us some inspiration to talk with somebody. Second, TV provides a useful infrormation and knowledge. Some TV program provide a useful information and knowledge, and i can learn many things from TV. Especially history documentary gives much help to my study. Third, TV is my good friend. Some body might laugh at me, but TV cheer me up whenever i’m depressed. Tv also teach me very important thing in my life.   

I think that my university life is really hard for several reasons. First, there are bunch of homework. Because the presentation assignment is mandatory in every major course, I have a lot of things to prepare. I have to spend most of my time to do my assignment and prepare exam. Second, I have few friends. Because my department is mostly composed of female students, the circumstance is really depressed and cold. I think most female students are reluctant to associate with someone new. Finally, whole school life is monotonous and boring. Everything in school repeats again and again. I hope to do something new and meet somebody new, but all the environment condition prevents me from doing that way. I hope to walk the path that is different from the one I used to follow from next week.

KUM-DO is really beneficial for several reasons. First, KUM-DO improves my concentration ability. Because the wooden sward is not light, it requires a lot of concentration for me to brandish accurately. The accurate KUM-DO action cannot be made without concentration. Second, it improves my physical strength. After I practice sward action many times, I can feel that I gain muscle and power. I think that only holding the sward require substantial amounts of physical strength. Finally, it gives me motivation for life. After I work out hard, I am usually soaked with perspiration. Whenever I sweat profusely, I feel that I ‘m alive. Perspiration encourages me to live with positive and refreshing mind.

My friend is really unusual. He trusts somone easily because he is too naive. He think that he got closed with someone if the person nice to him a little bit. For example, he think that he is closed with somebody if the person put some comments on his writing on the internet bulletine board. So he often send a text message and say hello althouth the opponent rarely respond to it.   And the opponent doesn’t think that they are closed at all. Even though all his neighborhood act like they are his good friend, they are not a real friend but only somebody he knew. They seems like good friend, but most of them are not valuable person as much as he trust. But he believe that all his classmates and neiborhoods are his closest friend. He will pull himself together once he experience strong betray. But sometimes I envy him because he can do what i cannot.

Mosquitoes have become big trouble for several reasons. First, mosquito transmites epidemics to the people. Because the summer is coming, there are many mosquitoes which are infected by Japanese encephalitis. Second, mosquitoes disturb my sleeping at night. Because they fly around my ears and make noisy, it irritates me. After Mosquitoes bite my arms and legs, the spot is really itch and swells up. Finally, mosquitoes take my most valuable things from me. It costs me a lot of money to buy mosquito repellent, spray, and mosquito net. Because money is most important thing in my life, I have to save my money and refrain myself from spending money.

 I went to the South Africa as a volunteer work last year. At that time I went to there as a medical volunteer service because malaria spread out around Africa. Many Africa country desperately needed medical aid from the other country. South Africa is one of biggest diamond manufacture country. So many people wear diamonds because the diamond is in plentiful supply. But diamond is only available to the rich people, and most of poor people cannot get normal medical treatment. South Africa is really beautiful county. It’s nature environment and architecture style is really beautiful and gorgeous. There are also many wild animals like tiger, lion, hippopotamus, zebra It is really miraculous and beautiful. But it is sometimes dangerous because the tiger attack people.

My friend is really stingy. He never bring more than 3000won in his money becaues he can refrain himself from wasting money by doing that way. He cannot help saving his money by adjusting his consumption. For example, he always eat lunch which is less than 2000won, and he usually ask his classmate to buy him something to eat. If he has not any money, he usually bear hunger until he come back his home. Then he eat something like ramyeon. Whenever he eager to drink alcohol, he usually drink it in hishouse because he want to save his money. The 1 bottle of soju cost more than 3000won in pub, but it cost only 900 won in supermarket. He usually drink so-ju with the kimchi stew or ramyeon in his house. He said it is chiefest way to drink.

I interviewed with junhang and he said that he has a unusual friend. His name is Oh, hyun ju. Junhang said he is really unusual. He thinks that he is really get closed with everybody who he acquainted with. Even if all the neighborhoods consider him as just somebody they know, he think that he is really closed with all of them. For example, he send text message to all the neighborhood and say hello without considerating relationship between them. He send a letter message to the people who are not closed with him, and many people get embarrassed. Many girls are embarassed because he seems like working on them. He is really naive, and he trust somebody easily. He is more than 25years old, but his soul is like childeren. In this kind of complicated sociey, person who trust his acuaintance easily is really unusual and unique.   

My friend is really stingy. He hate to spend money and never spend money on anything but eating food. For example, he never buy his clothes until it is destroyed by itself. He doesn’t care about his appearance and clothes. So his fashion is rustic and a little bit nasty. But he never buy clothes before his mother buying him a new clothes. For instance, he doen’t keep money in his pocket more than 5000 won. So whenever he face the situation that he has to pay for some thing, he can get out of the situation and he also refrain himself from spending money.  

         I love this place. There is nice chair and table. And I can drink good quality of coffee. This place provides me a quite place to study and read a book. All the person who are in this place are reading a book or studying. So it promotes myself to study harder. Some people are chatting together, but it is not harmful but helpful for my study because a little noisy prevent me from being bored. The lighting and interior design is also create some kind of gorgeous circumstance. So it makes me comfortable and helps me to concentrate on my  own job.

 I hate this place. This place is located right behind the high story apartment. So it is always dark and the sun cannot streams into this place even in the afternoon. And this place is really cold and bitter window blows into this place because the window frame is too old. This place has no gorgeous interior design and it is painted all white. There is nothing but chair and table. There is one fluorescent on the ceiling, but it is broken out and flickering. This place is really boring and irritating. And it also make me scary and uncomfortable.  

Most of koreans has equilibrium oriented mind internally. Equilibrium oriented means the mind that  all the citizens have to share same portion of valuable resource. Many koreans thinks that they should not be imperior to others even though he cannot be superior to others. For example, if somebody buy a good quality of car or household goods, his neighborhood can be comfortable even after he acquire better quality of household goods. If soneone give a good quality of extra private education to his children, his neighbor is comfortable even after his children getting more expansive private eduacation. Korean’s highschool level equalization policy also tells how much koreans equilibrium oriented. I think that Koreans are really reluctant to give in the others in any competition. They cannot live with putting down in any competition.   

 In 1932, Great depression occurred in America and the country was flooded by needy. But the economy policy of Republican party was not change at all and they stick to the existing policy. But the democratic government pledge to deal with great depression by projecting new deal policy. After Democratic government inititate new deal policy, and economy has been improved a lot and they could save many needy. So they could create job opportunity, the approval rate of democratic party skyrocketing to the 60%. African Americans and white low class combined with other low class people. And all of them support democratic party. But in 1936 the approval rate of democrats are decrease more than 25%. Why the 25% of democrats turn to the republican party. Psycological perspective and rational perspectives are struggling with this issue.

Psycological perspective considerate party identificaiton as a important voting determinant and it is rarely changed. It’s point of view is that they were just come back to their own identity. So they said that the peoples who supported the democratic party between 1932 and 1936 were Republican originally. But they turn to the democratic party temporary and they come back to where they were.But Rational perspective believes that the expected utility is very important voting determinant. Rational perspective is that another factor influence them to turn to Rep and they respond to it rationally. They said that some kind of incident like economic depression take place and it lead to the decrease of democratic approval rate. They believe that the electorate are moving according to the expected utility.

    If the psycological perspective theory is true, the magnitude and speed that the party identification can be transformed is slow and gradual. So long term realignment is take place in 1936, it is also progressing now. But if we regard the approval rate of democrats in 1932 as the stream of long-term realignment, The theory cannot explain how the radically rasied approval rate in 1932 take place. It also cannot explain realignment. If the rational perspective is true, it proves that the expected utility is important voting determinant. And expected utility might be the cause of realignment. We can know it from radical graph of approval rate of democratic party. But it cannot explain the stable and gradual movement of republican party approval rate graph.

What’s the origin of regionalism and what theory can explain the Korea’s regionalism?Because korean political party which is based on the regionalism nominate someone who is well connected with certain area as a candidate many citizens are under influence of regional feeling. Some people hate the other area person intentionally and they don’t want the candidate who is from another area elected. Regional feeling might be seemed as hatred toward the other area and attachment toward their hometown. It seems like that the psychological approach might be applied for the Korea’s election. But we have to think about the origin of regionalism deeply. If we look at the historical aspect, many former president promote regional feeling to extend their regime. They compensate for the people who live in certain area by developing their area. They construct the highway and industrial facility only in certain area. They could give some kind of expectation which their area will be more developed toward the area’s citizen. So Regionalism is based on the expected utility which is calculated by the electorate who consider their future advantage of their hometown and the possibility that they can advanced to the mainstream society. So regionalism is example of rational perspective. Regional voting is based on calaulation of expected utility

Kenzo Ramyon is the most delicious ramyon Among the ramyons I have ever eat. It is not instant ramyon but hand made ramyon. It is sold at the Japanese restaurant and there is some special restaurant for the Kezo ramyon. It is very different from Korean instant ramyon and it taste flat. The noodle is really tender and smells really good. The smell of the ramyon is really fresh and exotic. The smell promote my appetite and I began to addicted to the food.   

 Ingredients are 2 chicken, 1 cup of rice, 4 piece of ginseng, 20 piece of garlic, 2 string onion, salt, pepper, and 4 jujube.
 Firtst, prepared one chicken which weigh more than 800g. Score the center of chicken body and draw out all the internal organ. And wash it until you can remove the bloody stain. Second, wash the rice and leave it until the rice get bulky. Wash and peel off the ginseng. If the ginseng became clean cut the top of it. Wash and peel off the garlics and jujube. Third, fill the chichen with rice, ginseng, jujube, garlics and put the legs into between the blade scar. Fourth, put the chickens into the pot and boil it with salt, pepper and string onion.

 How to cook the ‘DAK DORI TANG’

Materials are chicken, 3 potato, onion, carrot, 2 red pepper, 2 string onion. Seasonings are red pepper powder 3 spoon, hot spicy sauce, soy sauce, sugar 1spoon, slat 1spoon, edible oil 1spoon, pepper.

First, wash the chicken and cut into several piece. Second, boil the chicken with string onion and remove the fat from it. Third, peels the potato and cut into 4 or 5 pieces. And don’t cut the carrot into thick slice. Cut the onion into 6 slice. Cut the string onion and red pepper into thick slice. Fourth, Put the chicken into pot. And mix in with hot spicy sauce and red pepper powder. Boil the chicken. Fifth, after boiling it for a while put the vegetables and close a lid. Finally After the broth decrease and salty taste permeate, put the galrics, and string onion, salt and mixed it and boiled it.

Some people said that there are two type of personaliy. One is donqihote type and the other is hamlet type. Donqihote type is really active and outgoing. They care nothing for the other people. And they propel what they want to do agrasiively. But hamlet type is introspective and irresolute. The feature of hamlet type is that all the things are happening in his own mind. But donqihote type person think that he is exist for changing world and all the things happen in outside of himself. Hamlet always keep contradiction in his mind and think about himslef all the time. But donqihote always interested in the world execepting himself. he is always focusing on the world and forgetting himself. He doesn’t know who he is. He dosen’t think about himself and that’s the main reason why donqihote type is decisive. The original moment that personality begins divied into donqihote and hamlet is how much impose imporatance on himself and his existance.

 I know one restaurant in BUCHEON and I often go to there to eat the shrimp fried rice. The restaurant is famous for the shrimp fried rice. Distinctive feature of the restaurant is that they provide too much rice. They give two times more than the other restaurant. When I’m really hungry I can eat enough fried rice at chief price. As well as its quantity, they are famouse for its taste. There are many ingredient in it like hot spicy ingredient, kimchi, meat. It is really delicious and it tastes a little bit hot spicy and sweet. So I like the shirimp fried rice restaurant.

I think that we have to protect our rice market. I think that we have to crop rice and supply it by ourselves. If our market is flooded by foreign agricultural product, We would be force to give up our right to raise and transact our rice by foreign country. And all the farmers will be heavily damaged by foreign agricultural product and government will not take adequate compensation initiative. The opening rice market will be irreparable loss.

Many women want to be a popular among the men. There are many ways to attract men’s attention. For example some women dressed well and show pretty appearance. And some women just nice to many man to hit on him.But what is the best way for female to attract male’s attention? According to the internet poll, the answer is just pretending not to interested in man. In korea acting like they are not interested in male is most effective.  In western countries, i guess that many woman are aggrassive to associating with man. And males are more active. But i think korea culture is different.   

Is United states a religious country? Many people are saying that way. America was constructed by the puritan and founded on the protestant ideology. We can also see it on the 1dollor bill.  A phrase “In god we trust” inscribed into the 1 dollor bill. Christianity ideolgy prevails in America society. But i’m not sure whether the America is strong religious country. obiviously many arab countries are strong religiouse country because most of them are tend to sacrifice themselves for religion. And they have no concept of individual freedom. If we can say that America is strong religious country, several requirement should be qualified. There is some occasion that we should choose betwween individual freedom and christianity value. For example, abortion and gay right issue are like that. As well as Americans give first priority to individual freedom, most of them have christianity value. They have to choose only one and they cannot get both of them.  I think that’s the one of reason why America cannot become strong religious country.    

The relationship between perception and voting behavior is very important for election case research to study how the electorate respond to the change of political circumstance. There are three major method to approach the fact. First psycological approach is saying that electorate apply their stero type for the candidate. Their judgement is depend on whether the candidate accept their key value and requirement . Second, Socialogical approach is putting much importance on the party identification and role of political party.  The members of society are divided according to their indiviual interest and ideology after large social grouping take place. At that moment, the perception which influence voting behavior  is determined. Third the rational approach is that the perception is resulted in voting behavior accuratelty. And this theory is assume that the electorates are rational and reasonable. So this theory said that electorates are able to anlysis every political factor in detail.
