Have you thought how much your father is tired to earn money all day long for your family?
To be honest, I’ve never though of that, but when I see my father’s white hairs and a wrinkled face nowadays, I feel so sorry for that. I only thought of my comfortable life, not father’s, so I used to complain of what I want to have, and it worried my parents. I think I’ve had pretty good life so far because my parents always try to support what I need and buy what I want for me all the time. However, I wanted more and more.

Nowadays I’ve been studying a play, ‘Death of a Salesman’ written by authur Miller, in a play class. This play is really popular and well-known; additionally, it’s worth for me since it made me think of my father’s life. A main character, Willy, a breadwinner of his family and a salesman who lived in 70′s in America, worked so hard to pay for housebill and repairs every month. Willy got 2 sons, and when they were young, Willy was proud of first son, Biff, a expected football player.  To support Biff and  for living expense and other payment, he has worked so hard that he became exhausted when he was old.  However, Biff has failed as a player and second son, Happy, also failed to earn a lot of money.  Willy felt depressed. 

 Willy’s offer ,which is moving his salesarea to Newyork  from New England, was refused by a boss who has been known for a life time; additionally he was fired. Eventually, Willy decided to suicide by car collision, and he though that rest of family can get life insurance by his death.

When I read this part, I felt so gloomy and was wondering that how willy could trade his life for family.  Can every father sacrifice himself for their family?   Moreover, Willy overaped with my father insistantly. Maybe they are similar, since they both are work hard for own family without any gratitude from their sons and daughters, they even complain  about tiny insufficienty.  I could do self-examination this time and felt sorry for my father; I will be good to my father.
