Today, when I wanted to check my e-mail, it was difficult to enter my e-mail box, because a certain advertisement appeared repeatedly. It was very annoying to me. At that time, I thought it would be just one time but whenever, I draw my mouse to click my e-mail box, the advertisement interrupted me so it made me annoyed. Especially, even though I had to hurry up to check e-mail, I could not open. Sometimes, the media make me feel bad.
I know what that is but companies will keep advertising their products in that way because it turned out to be effective. However, as you said above, media sometimes definitely make me sick.
You know what drives me crazy? Pop-up windows. I don’t care what’s in them — just the fact a window I didn’t open pops up onscreen drives me crazy. I wish whoever is the webmaster of this University would stop using popup windows!
Of course, if you use the Firefox browser, it helps — it can block most popup windows. But while the Internet in most countries is set up to work with Windows, Firefox, Opera, and other browsers (as well as on Mac and Linux), Korean websites usually only work in Windows and Internet Explorer.
So do you guys use pop-up blocking programs, or what?
