Few days ago, I got a mail named “Your identification number has been used!” from the security site www.siren**.co.kr. After visiting the page, I knew that they send me a e-mail to let me know my personal information was used somewhere on the internet. With half curiosity, I registered the site and approved for the monthly pay for that (900 Won/month). Then I can confirm every web page that I’ve ever registered so far. I can visit suspicious site and decide to continue or quit. It wasn’t hundred percent perfect though.
It was a big issue that an internet shopping mall leaked out the information of their customers. Personal information is easy to access these days. We often write down about ourselves anywhere we want to see and get. We should, however, heed concerning the individual security. The EULA should be read before registering and you have to judge the safety. Besides, your information could be the main source of spam.
Beware, we can be the easiest target.
yes. I also got that same mail and I thought it was also spem mail. Anyway, worried about leak of my information, I naver write exact information about myself unless I decide that homepage is safe. however, that’s not the radical solution of this problem. I also agree with you that we should know what’s going on and read EULA;that I’ve naver tried. There must be law about this problem also.
