Elementary Composition – Day

There seems to be a controversy over building a new airport in Berlin. Many aviation industries especially in Europe are looking forward to the fact that there will be a well – functioned airport. Although in Germany, some people are worried about having a new airport because there are already major airports such as Frankfurt and Munich air ports, I agree with the notion that setting a new airport in a different area.

 Over the past few years, aviation industry has been losing their revenue in terms of several reasons. In the many reasons that I’d like  to mention that this industry hasn’t develope its service over customers compared to automobile business. while automobile industry has been struggling to improve its products quality and service, aviation market hasn’t done remarkably important works such as reducing air ticket price or better service in the airport. Such those conditions, the aviation industry needs a refresher in order to change the mood of declining industry. There are a few good services in aviation industry such as air mileage, VIP service in airport, or pick up service. However, there are many inconvenient matters when customers are boarding a plane, or spending time in airport. Compare to how much money customers spend on their air tickets and using for the airport, provided service are not good. For example, there are many cases about delaying planes. When it happen passengers can’t help but wait. They even don’t know how long they wait for the plane. Furthermore, setting up a new airport could cut down some wasting time such as lining up for check- out because its capacity would be bigger.  In this regard, building a brand new airport is necessary.

 Therefore, planning  to construct a new airport is required not only for Germany, but also for entire aviation business. From this plan, the whole aviation market could expect a boosting its profits, and also could approach to customers as more efficiently.

Many rich people usually wear diamonds, because they want to show up what they have. Furthermore, they like animals such as dogs, cats, and cows because they are kind and loyal. They even like wild animals like  lions, tigers, and snkes because they are danerous. The reason why rich people like them is they want feel excited by them. Foxes, bears, and snakes are even dangerous because there is more chance that they may attack people. Those things can’t make the rich scared. However, one thing they are terrifired is virus.  Virus like HIV, avain flu, or SARS is very powerful to kill hundreds people easily,so even the rich because they are people feel petrified viruses.

It is benefitial that you make a plan before you go vacation. It leads to two significant advantages. One of them is that this way of spending free time can prevent people from being in ebarassing situations. In particular, people need not waste time, and they may even benefit from careful planning. For example when people make an early reservation for their tickets to some famous performances, they can not only acquires the speacial discount. The other benefit is that poeple can increase their level of sastisfaction by making plans carefully. To specify this, when people make plans in advance, they can collect a large amount of information concerning what they will do. This information cannot be obtained without meticulous planning. in this regard, making plans enables people to enjoy an efficient and amusing life. 

In the very early morning, I was on the way to school. I smelled something that I had before. At first I dind’t remember where I had the smell, then I realize that that one was from when I was in Mexico. Last summer I and my Friend went on a vacation to there, and it was one of the best vacation that I have. By the way. today in the morning I got the same smell of what I had in there. It was an experience which I can call it exotic. I have never imagined that I can that smell again which was like fresh mango taste, and salty. I also fiound out that not only some picturesque scenery could be in my memory, but a particular smell may also be a part of my memory.

Abraham Lincoln was not an always winner rahter than close to a loser , and lived not well in his early life. He had go trough many difficuties, but he did not give up, and made it possible to be the United States of America’s president, and admired by poeple from all over the world. For this success, There is a reason for that because of his kindness, strong willness and religious belief. He was a very nice guy. For exxample, he had no prejudice when he meet any people. He had also great power not to defeat a harsh his life. For instance, he failed 8 times in elctions, and 2 times in businesses. however, he tried hard eough to seccess, and finally he made his dream true. Lastly, the fact that he was very religious man made him to do one of the best work in his whole life. For example, during he was the president, he was concerned about the black. From God saying, envery person is equal, but in USA the blacks were slaves, so he played a big role to get them free. For those reasons that I mentioned above, he is deserved to be respective, and he is a true winner. 

Even though Helen Keller was disabled in that she was blind and deaf, she was powerful and on of the greatesr women in the world. She has a great willness to overcome her flaws. For example, she lost her eye sight and abillity to hear at her age three, but she was not given up by the fact that she was handicapped and made it possible to be a great women. She was also warm hearted person. For instance, she was willing to help chilren who were suffering from same problems with her. so she made a donation for them. Furthermore, she was into social welfare and educatoin. For example, she wanted to the disabled kids study more, so she published some books to encourage them to learn something, and made them realize that each person is important. In these reasons that I mentioned above, she is deserved to be called a mentor for not only the disabled, but also ordinary people by showing her frontier life.

 Korean residents had difficulties and got discriminated in Japan as well. One thing that I have to give you information first is about why they went to Japan. Looking back on our history, there was a certain period time that Japanese had Korea for the name of colonization. At those time many of korean people were forced to go or was willing to go Japan. While Japanese government was ruling Korea, they used especailly southern parts for farming and cultivating rice and took everything to the Japan. So many Korean people died from famine because there was nothing to eat! This is one of the reasons they went to Japan. And then, what I want to mention second is how hard living in Japan as Korean. If I have to say it in a word is awful! They had to work at the lowest wage and had no rights to take part in Japan. They were neither citizens nor foriegners in Japan. Koreans who migrated to Japan faced severe Japanese discrimination, prejudice and antagonism. For example, more than six thousand Koreans were massacred at the time of the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923. Another one was Korean male men were forced to go to the army to fight for Japan. and girls were forced to be kind of prostitute for making Japanese soldiers happy. Up to now I was mentioning about two groups’ similarities in terms of how they were treated

 I have been studying for about a month, we have been talking about  colored people and their discrimination from white people and also their movements in America. They had fought for their freedom and equal rights to live with white society. There were civil rights movements and some significant activities performed by Black Panthers Party. So we know a little bit about how they were struggling to get their basic rights as human beings and what they were doing and what circumstances they have and how they live and so on. We know that even if they got freedom officially and white people say that they can do whatever they want. However, there is still discrimination  going on ,and most of all black people just make ends meet! The majority of the blacks are so poor and not well-educated. Therefore. they can not get fully recovered from the past when they were oppressed and treated like  dogs.

There is a place where I sometimes go to. I go there at times with my freinds or alone. In this area you don’t need to worry about whether you are with someone or not. You are toally free. You can make friends easily without any pressure. Everybody loves to feel the mood which is made naturally. There is all kinds of music especially hip hop. If you like that kind of music, you will love it a lot. If you are lucky enough you can go there without any fee. Not every friday, but somtimes owners of these places make those place free to anybody who loves music and dance. However, one thing you’d better konw is that there is no dress code, but it is much better that you dress up.

My first impression on her was that she was wearing circle lenses. Even though she has long and wide eyes. Her eyes were quite impressive. In addition to, she has edge nose and egg-shaped face. Futhermore, she has some beaty spots on her face. One was on her right cheek and the other a little bigger one ws in her left upper rip. Her hair was not so long. It was shoulder- length long and she was tied her hair in half. shh didn’t get her dyed ,so her hair color was natural dark brwon. In last she was wearing dark color denim and matching with shiny yellow hill.

It is  important to celebrate the first birthday not only in Korea ,but also in many countries. However, there exists the differences among countries. They have diiffrent ways to celebrate it. Especially in Korea, usually the parents who have a year old baby held a party. The party stemd from the past when people’s life span was not that long so poeple celebrate the fisrst year of birthday  if their child survive a year because at those time, there were not much good medication and system.  They invite many people like their friends,relatives and parents. Then, all of the people attening the party enjoy delicous food , have fun together and wish a good luck for the baby.  If you are invited this party, you should bring a present for a baby. Traditionally, invitee brings a gold ring, but these dyas cash is ok. In the party, there is a significant event. The event is performed by the baby. Making a variety of choices of things such as pencil, money, a bunch of thread on a table and make the baby choose what she or he wants. Each product represents a different meaning. For exeample, pencil means an intelligence ,  money means richhness amd the tread means long life. by the baby choosing someting out of those choices, her or his parents coulld guess what ahe or she will be in the future.

You need to have 3tbs of black tea leaves, 200ml of milk, same amount of water, kettle, pot and infuser and 2 or 3 tbs of sugar .First, boil the warter into the kettle and warm the milk up in a double boiler. Second, when the  water is boiling, pour the water into a pot. Third,put 3tbs of black tea leaves into an infuser ,and put it into the pot. Next, after 3 or 5 minutes later, get rid of the infuser from the pot. Then, pour  the same amount of milk into the pot. Next, put 2 or 3tbs of sugar and stir it well. Finally, pour the milk tea from the pot and drink.

If you want to make 3 portions of spicy rice cake, you  need to prepare 2 cups of water a pack of ricecake, 1 Tbs of crushed garlic, a half of onion, some green onion, 2Tbs of sugar, 3Tbs  of red pepper paste, a quarter of cabbages , a half pack of fish cake ,and some carrots.

First, put the rice cake into water for 15 minutes so that it gets soft. Second, cut the rice cake into bite size. Third, make the sauce. When  making it, you need to mix 3Tbs of red pepper paste with  2Tbs of sugar and 1Tbs of crushed garlic together. Fourth, heat a frying pan for 5 minutes ,and then put a half of onion with olive oil and saute. Fifth, put the other vegetable ingredients like some cabbages ,carrots and green onion ,and  then saute untill they get soften. Next, put two cups of water  into a wok. when it is boiling, put the fried vegetables and rice cake together. Then, after 5 minutes, put the sauce  ,and stir all ingredients to mingle well. Next, wait until the dish gets sticky. Finally. put the dish into a plate and sprinkle some sesame seeds.

It has been about a week that I signed up for toefl course. Thanks to this course, my five days of weekdays always end up 10 pm which makes me tired and not concentrate on my shool life. At first I though that I could juggle well beteen to matters ,but it was my misprediction. I somewhat screwed last week because I didn’t fully antispate both of them. I didn’t complete my assinments from acdemy and school as well.

I need to do somthing to make my time efficiently. Making it happen,I need more careabout my time schedule. Looking back om what I was doing last week. I was wasting time onto doing for nothing. I am such a loser again! Definately, I have buy a time schelduler and keep everything down about dos and don’t list and do it ,just do it.

Cheer up! There is a paramount which I have to cimb up for about two month! It is nothing compare to my entire life. It is difficult to go up with my annoying but somewhat lovely friend who is English. However, I am not going to be defeated by it. The day when I just on  the top of mountain, I will clap myself.

Recently. consumtion of rice has been decresing. There could be many reasons brought this reselt, but one thing is that there is no improvement on rice. While bread have considerable kinds of chice and favor, the food which is made by rice can be counted in ine hand. The people who are working on agricultaral side and also cusine side should do some act over bread which is made of wheat.

Above all. they need to develope many dishes from rice. This time is completly different from 60s and 70s when people just wanted to eat rice to be full. They did not much care on the taste of rice. They were just happy to eat rice. However, thesedays, people changed. They want to eat more speacail and healthy  food. Therefore, the people who anticipating in business of food and cultivation. They have to follow the flow of fashion and concept of what most people want to ear with rice. So I want them to be more conpetitive for at least .  keeping  up with the Jhones.

Moreover, we need to think that rice is our staple food, so we need to preserve and make it better in flavor and quality as well. At this case, farmers should be more wise and keep their eyes wide open to make the condition of rice better. people are more getting into their health problem. So pageants need to try and ally with high thechnology to improve the rice. It has been proved that eating rice is much better than bread in diet. In this respect, the people who are related with rice should be aggresive and cutting -edged.

In conclusion, rice is imprtant in our life as Korean, so we need to love more it. Therefore, rice should change its out dated fashion and it should approach and capture Korean’s mind again as fully versatile and likable figure.

It is widely believed that playing games plays a significant role in treachig us some lessons about life. Although playing games is considered as just enjoying with other people, in my opinion, we can learn much about our lives in the process of playing  games.

Above all, we can make a good social relationship through games. In particular, i get a nice a nice opportunity ti know new people better by games. For instance, when I becam a freshmmen, I met many new people.At that time. most o people including me were feeling not confortable because we didn’t know much about each other well. In that ackward atmosphere, one of my senior brought basket ball and suggested that we played basketaball. After the game, we could get to know one another better and easy to talk to ,then we got closed easily.In this respect, playing games are preferable way to comunocate and making a new freindship with poeple.

In conclusion,I agee with the stament that playing games makes a great contribution to our lives in terms of its fuction. 

Everybody learns something in their entire life . As  I am a part of everybody , I am always studying wether I like it or not in my whole life. This is what I want to talk about. If you have no choice but to do it , why would you do it happily? It seems easy , but doing things enjoyfully is not that simple matter even if most of people would know that it is right to do. For instace, let’s look back on what I have been doing from friday night up  to now. Frankly speaking, I haven’t done anything related with study,and  even I didn’t clean up my messy desk and the floor that my clothings have been  exhibited as if cicada comes from the  pupa. What a loser I am! How can I be called a student? I am so ashamed to confess what person I am. I want to be different! If so,how can I be changed?

I need to restart my resolutions up again. It’s been about a month that I have not kept my resolutions. To maintain my goals, I need to somethindg that can wake me up mentally  and boost my energy. Best thing that I can think of is giving  presents for myself. It could be ridiculous, but I bet and I hope it will work. Presenting myself when each goal is accomplished. Then, I could feel more sarisfied and get some power to maintain to go further.

I will stat right after finishing this writing! My mid-resolutions has just started! I am going to be whole new person. from tonight. I am not a loser any more.

Acquring second language is not that easy. If you don’t have a special talent and you are just an ordinary person, it needs you to put a lot of effforts to get it. Especially, you are korean, your sencond languagr would be English. Not  only have I studied English,but most of people also have learned English as a part of religion. Do you agree with we that I compare English to a religin? some people moght not agree with me ,but see many of poeple who live in korea and think of your friend and your self.  Then, Look back on  How you reacted when you happened to meet a person speaking well. I assume that the first saying you expressed was ‘wow’ or ‘amazing’. You kind of worship poeple who speak well or get a good score well in English. I admire them, too,and also I want to be like them. This is probably what many people who have been studying English have in their mind.

As I mentioned it before, taking English as a study is hard. However, you should admit that English is not your mother tongue, so you don’t have to feel pressured that you are going to be perfect. It is absurd, but I am not discouraging you that you can’t be perfect. what I want you to know is that find the way you can study it efficiently and keep and  your method up and continue it. It is easy to say that ,but as you alrealy know that the fact finding and keeping is not as easy as saying. So I want to make some tips or advice which could help you to find your successful solutions.

First thing you should do id fiding your own way. Keep that in mind that there is no short cut and an answer paper for you. You need to go and spend you time. Even tough , you don’t find the answer, don’t be depressea and keep doing it over and pver until you get to the final. you could learn lots of things by doing yourself. It can not be taught by teachers or even books. Having your own experiences is the best teacher in your life. There are many ways you can expose to English in even Korea. For instance, I suggest you go to Iteawon if you want to practice your speaking ability. Some poeple have xenophobia ,so they can not talk to foreigners. I asumme that why they afraind of foreigner is beacause they lack Enlgish ability. However, it does not matter. Just be brave. Foreigners would know that you are not native speakers and would like talk to you. They might want to know more korean culture and have freinds. Be thier firends and show how well you can speak. The other way to improve your English is reading books which written in English of course. It problay gives you tons of new vocabolaries and you could remember that simultaneously. It may help your listening skill as well because you can hear up to what you know. Sencond thing that I want you to remember is keeping. Unless you keep using your secret , you can lose it all. The important you can keep it well is a goal. It could be a test like toeic or toefl or make a club with your friends that keeps you awaking by getting inspired each other or lowering lazyness. Another way is rewading yourself. If you achieve a certain kind of level, you praise yourself and buying somthing that you want to get. Then, you would be proud yourself and feel so good.

Except what I mentioned above, there can be many diffferent ways that you can learn English more effectively. As one of Enlish learners who wants to study greatly and well. I want you to have those things in your mind always as I do. If you want something, you should sacrifice you anyway. No pain , and No gain. Why don’t you step up English ladder ane by one without resting?

  Over the past several decades, it has been prosperous era for skinny girls. As a person who is not skinny, I have to say something about the concept of beauty. It may show that I am telling this beacause I am not a “It girl”. Yes, it could be true and somewhat is right. If I don’t have any problem with that, probably I won’t mention it ,but most of any complaints and counter-opinions are formd from minority or the opressed from any reasons,so I want to make my point to the abusurd idea of what beauty is.

 Do you know the fact that there are ony three sizes in clothings? There are size 44, 55 ,and 66. What I want to ask you is do those sizes fit into every korean women? No, it is not true and it can not be true. There are many many different sizes and figures of people live in korea who are  beatiful enough. It implies that they can not categorize into just 3 options. However, fashion industry and media enforce korean women be like Barbie.  Barbie is not a human. It is just a doll which is for playing for kids. To be like a Baibie doesn’t make any sense to beauty.It is not a real beauty. Nevertheless, you want to become like it and love it like a religion.

 What  you should focus on  first is finding own beauty. It is not a whole idea of seaching your charmingness by losing your weight or shaping your body like tooth pick. It could be a way to chiesel yourself. It could be a secondary way ,but not  the way! There are many diverse ways you become a beautiful person by filling yourself  in the way that reading and having  profitable habbits like joining wine club or studying other languages. Then second thing you need to do is  write a letter or use any other sources that you can reach to the evil fashion indusrty and media that make you get suffered. Make a new concept of beauty and let them know size in 77 or 88 are also beautiful.Take an action! Maybe you have a little power against  giant copanies or broadcasting centers ,but don’t haveto be afraid of them. You are not alone who don’t like them. Lump your power together and make the critical voice and let  them realize they are wrong over and over. Everything can be changed ,so Social concepts too.

 It might be tough to break the idea of routined beauty,but if you are so sure about it and want  to change, do it, just do it. Make sure that you belive in yourself that you are beautiful no matter what other sknny people say and keep trying to be attractive not just in pysical things but for your real inner beauty. That’s the point. Inner beauty and the power from your inner side that can make changes to anything.

 The red light is blinking to warn you that drinking alcohol could kill you! How many times do you drink under the name of making bonds to eachother? It is ashamed to say that Korea is number one in the highest rate of sudden death in 40s and also consuming a large amout of alcohol. What do you feel about it? Can you feel that  your liver is suffering? you listen carefully. You are not made of iron. You are just an ordinary person. So you must know what sideffects you could go though when you drinking too much.

 Most of office workers probably experience the sickness after drinking alcohol. That kind of symtom representing not feeling good is called hangover. It implies that your liver is not working well because of alcohol. I don’t mean drinking alcohol is  bad. When you drink it untill you can care yourself, it is totally accepted,but what I am concerning about is that too much is threatening your health. Health problem does not  end itself. It could cause other concerns such as depression from the result on which you’ve worked ,phycological problem or economic unstalization. Your feeling not good could make your assinments not successful because you can not concentrate well. If you do those things over and over, there is a high chance you can not get promoted or get lower payment From that you may drink again to get your stess out ,but this situation goes to stating point again. It is a vicious circle.

 There is one way to get out of it. Cut it off! Don’t drink too much. The more you are drunk, the higher chances you get that you lose your everthing that you’ve made up for your whole life.  Building a castle takes at least a month ,but tearing it down takes just a few seconds. Think wise.

 Spring is such a charming season, but you have to remember that attractions always have taken its toll on you. You have to go through some difficulties to enjoy  purely entire charmingness. If so, what should you overcome to get especilly spring?

 Most of the people might feel same like spring is good for going palying hooky and hanging out with freinds. Watch out! from here you are lured by the sweetness of spring. It is natural to feel like going outside and having a sunbath when the weather is absolutely gorgeous ,when you are imprisoned in the class without any force. However, I suggest you not skip classes. If you do, you will become as a first victim of spring. What I advise you here is complete your tasks fisrt no matter how the weather’s conditon. You can probaly enjoy your day or night after you do your things done. Then, I bet you feel free about your study or work and make anyday for your own! Second thing that you should be careful is getting slacker.Spring is a perfect season for taking a nap or falling a sleep. If you can not jump over those   samll obstacles , you are the victim number two. It is possible you get fascinated by them, but it should not be that long being lured. Don’t act like a loser stand up with your feet. Be strong and Don’t let spring vitimize you. Be aw ake.

 If you follow those two tips, spring is yours! Let’s praise and admire the curiously vital spring!

 In conversation class, I got an awful and goose-bumped truth about who I had believed in he was the one of the greatest leaders not only in America but entire world. Can you guys guess whom I am talking about? He is Ablaham Lincon. Not only me but most korean students have known him as an exallent leader. Yes, he was a good leader for white people or citizens, but not for the blacks. I would say African – American. You could say that I am stupid beacause the fact that he freed black people from under the name of slavery.

 There is a somthing to talk about it. When did he free them? It was after the civil war. I would say he could have freed them before the civil war occured if he really meant and felt sorry to them. However, he didn’t. If he thoght that blacks have equal right like white,he should have let those people free first and let them fight for their own rights,but he didn’t. What implies you? Do you feel anything?

 He was a calculated and mean and smart person as well. He thought let blacks free right after the war could affect on southernes whoes economy was run by majority group of blak. Actually it did and he succeeded in it. Before since I didn’t know  the awful truth, I had been thaught like he was the greatest guy in terms of all what he did for people.

I can not say that whole concept of him is fake, but at least I have samll eyes to see what is under the truth that I have heard and believed. I am glad that at least now I can think the other way around any truths in which are witten or taught by majority of historians could contain a kind of winners minds.

Does it excist a real truth? Everyhting is curved and distorted. You could realize by looking at the mirror. It shows the exact opposite side of real things.

There is one truth that there is no such a perfect  truth out there

 A freind of mine is a really nice person in terms of her abillty to make friends and hospitality to everybody whom she’ve met. I would say that she is warm hearted. Actually I somewhat admire her of those things. However, What i want to make sure about her is that she has a low self-esteem. Too much of self-esteem is also a problem to get along with people but to lower yourself is also a problem which  can’t be overpassed.

 I want her to be more proud of herself. She deserves it. Nothing can block her but herself makes a wall from to-be -better-life. Every single time when I happen to meet her, I always tell her that don’t lower yourself. I assume that she thinks telling and behaving like she is not ego-sentric and not good at anything are representing herself as a humble person , but it is not!

 She misunderstands the concept of a humbleness. I want her to realize that what a truly moderate person is. She needs to be see a silver light from cloudy sky.  She has got to feel she, herself is a great person and doesn’t have to be scared anybody who don’t like her! I want to her know that the fact you can not please everybody! It just impposible.

Don’t have to challenge you! by doing unprfitable work.
