Abraham Lincoln was not an always winner rahter than close to a loser , and lived not well in his early life. He had go trough many difficuties, but he did not give up, and made it possible to be the United States of America’s president, and admired by poeple from all over the world. For this success, There is a reason for that because of his kindness, strong willness and religious belief. He was a very nice guy. For exxample, he had no prejudice when he meet any people. He had also great power not to defeat a harsh his life. For instance, he failed 8 times in elctions, and 2 times in businesses. however, he tried hard eough to seccess, and finally he made his dream true. Lastly, the fact that he was very religious man made him to do one of the best work in his whole life. For example, during he was the president, he was concerned about the black. From God saying, envery person is equal, but in USA the blacks were slaves, so he played a big role to get them free. For those reasons that I mentioned above, he is deserved to be respective, and he is a true winner.
Even though Helen Keller was disabled in that she was blind and deaf, she was powerful and on of the greatesr women in the world. She has a great willness to overcome her flaws. For example, she lost her eye sight and abillity to hear at her age three, but she was not given up by the fact that she was handicapped and made it possible to be a great women. She was also warm hearted person. For instance, she was willing to help chilren who were suffering from same problems with her. so she made a donation for them. Furthermore, she was into social welfare and educatoin. For example, she wanted to the disabled kids study more, so she published some books to encourage them to learn something, and made them realize that each person is important. In these reasons that I mentioned above, she is deserved to be called a mentor for not only the disabled, but also ordinary people by showing her frontier life.
People should not gamble because they could be addicted to it. Gambling is like taking a drug. If you win the bet, you don’t want to stop betting your money on it hoping to win again. However, it is very dangerous because some poeple gamble their lives away. Even if you consider yourself a lucky person, you should not believe that you are going to make much money by gambling. you can go to a casino just for fun, but I warn you to think wisely and not waste your time and money on betting your money.
I was invited to a movie from a foreign exchange bank. I was selected a excellence member because I received preferential treatment. The movie title was “Lewdness Student Dependent”, but I was disappointed to see the movie. It enjoyed popularity and drew a large audience. So I really expected too much, then it fell short of my expctations. However, I think the movie was a matter of opinion. I was somewhat bitter that I looked like to have a waste of time. If I have a such chance again, I would not take it at a gift.
I love poems. It is not that I know much about poems or can write good poems, but it’s just I like reading them aloud or listening to others reading them. I also like to think about the theme of a poem, and just have some time to feel and enjoy it. When it comes to English poem, I like them better than Korean poems. Because, I think English poems have more beautiful and strict rhythm and rhymes. Even more, I love translating them into Korean. When I wonder about what I am going to do with the rest of my life, I just want to be a poem translator. But people hardly read poems anymore. They don’t even read Korean poem unless the poet is very popular or the poem is very sensational. I just don’t know. What should I do with my life? I feel my life of this age is too fragile.
Martin Luther king is a person who got a Nobel peace prize.
He hates the racism. For example, he devoted his life to change white people’s racial discrimination. And he hates the violence. For instance, he fought discrimination without any force. He started nonviolent resistance movement. Finally, he was wise and very good at speaking. For example, almost everyone knows his speech called ‘I have a dream’. Some of students even study this speech as a text.
Even though Martin Luther king was assassinated, his achievement and his name will be remembered forever.
Helen Keller is one of the greatest women in the world. I will explain three reasons of her greatness. She was a hopeful person. For example, she has a lot of troubles, but she never just depressed. She felt kind of frustrated, but she overcomes it owing to her teacher’s help. She did not complaint about her bad luck and tries to keep a positive attitude for her life. She has a strong will. For instance, she never gives up learning. She was blind, deaf, and dumb. Because of these handicapped, to communicate with others was not easy for her. Surely, reading and writing something was not easy, too. But she constantly tries with her strong will and eventually does all these things well. Lastly, she was really generous. For example, she wants to help the handicapped people. After she finished her study, she was not satisfied with her own success. She devoted herself to help handicapped people. I think everyone who has a difficult or obstacle can learn something about her life.

Korean residents had difficulties and got discriminated in Japan as well. One thing that I have to give you information first is about why they went to Japan. Looking back on our history, there was a certain period time that Japanese had Korea for the name of colonization. At those time many of korean people were forced to go or was willing to go Japan. While Japanese government was ruling Korea, they used especailly southern parts for farming and cultivating rice and took everything to the Japan. So many Korean people died from famine because there was nothing to eat! This is one of the reasons they went to Japan. And then, what I want to mention second is how hard living in Japan as Korean. If I have to say it in a word is awful! They had to work at the lowest wage and had no rights to take part in Japan. They were neither citizens nor foriegners in Japan. Koreans who migrated to Japan faced severe Japanese discrimination, prejudice and antagonism. For example, more than six thousand Koreans were massacred at the time of the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923. Another one was Korean male men were forced to go to the army to fight for Japan. and girls were forced to be kind of prostitute for making Japanese soldiers happy. Up to now I was mentioning about two groups’ similarities in terms of how they were treated
I have been studying for about a month, we have been talking about colored people and their discrimination from white people and also their movements in America. They had fought for their freedom and equal rights to live with white society. There were civil rights movements and some significant activities performed by Black Panthers Party. So we know a little bit about how they were struggling to get their basic rights as human beings and what they were doing and what circumstances they have and how they live and so on. We know that even if they got freedom officially and white people say that they can do whatever they want. However, there is still discrimination going on ,and most of all black people just make ends meet! The majority of the blacks are so poor and not well-educated. Therefore. they can not get fully recovered from the past when they were oppressed and treated like dogs.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart had tragic life despite people remember him as a genius in classic music. Becase he was poor, and he died of a disease of unknow etiology. He also didn’t break down the barrier of classes
First, he lived in indigence. He earned much money by composing credictable tunes and playing them, but he had overspending habit. This leaded him to poverty. For example, he borrowed much money from his family or friends while he worked a famouse musician, and when he died, there is no money to hold the funeral.
Second, he died of a disease. There are many guesses about the cause of his death, but the cause have not unknown. He died after fifteen days that he had got the disease.
Finally, he didn’t free from classes in spite of his effort for breack down the barrier of classes. For instance, he became a member of a club that against class distinction, and he told many people ” My music is for everyone.”
That’s why I think that Mozart leaded tragic life. He even though had many troubles in his life, his tunes has remained as most beautiful music in history.

Fighting for Unity and Freedom
For example, in the 1860 campaign for president,Lincoln firmly expressed his opposition to slavery.
And his determination to limit the expansion of slavery westward into the new territories acquired from Mexico in 1850.
What started as a war to preserve the Union and vindicate democracy became a battle for freedom and war to end slavery when Lioncoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in January of 1863.
As part of the proclamation,Lincoln also urged black males to join the Union forces as soldiers and sailors.
Almost all historians judge as the greatest President in American history because of the way he exercised leadership during the war.
And because of the impact of that leadership on the moral and political character of the nation.

Mozart, he is a genius. His music is fabulous. He lived only 36 years, but he leaved his trace on music behaind.
I saw movie ‘Amadeus’ few weeks ago, I’m very impressive. In the movie, Mozart describe a lunatic, but genuine. He is so impolite, but he has a pure mind. Mozart has a free soul. He isn’t bounded by way of life. I don’t think it same as a real mozart, but its feeling is certainly impressive. I wish mozart in the movie is real mozart.
And salieri is a virtual character of the movie, but I like him. Especially, his word.
‘Oh God! Why ypu give give me for reward onlt the abillity to recognize the incarnation?’
Mother Theresa deserves to become a saint for many reasons. First, she devoted her life to helping the poor of India. For example she established school for children of the slums. Also, she helped the poor, the sick, the lepers, the AIDS patients and the lonely in India. Second, Mother Teresa helped the people in all over the world. She helped the hungry in Ethiopia, radiation victims at Chernobyl, and earthquake victims in Armenia. Third, she received a number of awards and distinctions, including the Pope John XXIII Peace Prize and the Nehru Prize for her promotion of international peace and understanding. She also received the Balzan Prize and the Templeton and Magsaysay awards.
Hellen Keller was a great woman. First, Helen was a warm-hearted person. For instance, when she was only 11 years old, she helped a guy named Tommy who was very poor. She gave him all her money that she had. Next, Helen liked to learn something. For example, she learned to read Latin, Greek, French and German from her teacher, Sullivan. She also learned to use a typewriter. Finally, she was self-sacrificing. For example, she worked for many years for the American Foundation for the blind. She wrote a lot of books and articles. Helen showed that disabled people could succeed.

When he was on the travelling within Italy, at the age of 10, he played his own Opera at Milano. But, he had strange personality. For example, he was emotionally unstable so he repeated serious and laughs plentifully. In conclusion, I think his music reflect his these life vestige.
Yesterday, I went to my senior’s wedding seremony. The place was near by Hong Ik University, and the opening was 2 o’clock. I arrived that almost about one- twenty. Because I didn’t talk with her if I got there almost 2 o’clock, and I hoped to take some pictures with her personally. There was an another important reason however. I had promised to play a wedding march on a piano. I don’t play a piano well, but a wedding march is not a so difficult tune, and I had felt appreciation about asking me to play that. That’s why I had accepted her request. The more approached the openning, the more I got nervous. The openning began at last, I played the piano without a mistake by good fortune. I never forget the bride and the groom’s happy expressions. I desire them to make most beautiful living.
He left a word that all thing we made in the world is the thing hope made. He always defeated against injustice by no power and no violence. Earlier than that day, he impressed by Gandhi’s word. In the 60′s, he also opposed the Vietnam’s war that is no justice and it isn’t necessary at all. Moreover, he always fought about human rights to stick his faithfulness. During his life, he never stop doing this. I respect him
Abrahm Lincoln is 16th American president. His parents were so poor so he hadn’t even books. But, he loved to read and preferred learning to working in the fields. For example, after he finished his work at that day, he studied in small, dark room. And, since he didn’t have even a single book, he tried to borrow friend’s books and read over an over. Also, he was very wise boy. For instance, his father was almost deception but he read contract substitute his father so he could prevent deception. Moreover, he was kind and honest. For example, people called him “Honest Abe” In conclusion, there’s no doubt about that he was already well qualified as a best president.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who is a famous composer was creative. He was an infant genius with productive imagination when he played the piano. For example, he played the piano when he was three years old and composed music when he was six years old. He made music with inspiration. He did not really spend much time making music like other composers. He rather made music with inspiration without thinking over. He could express his feelings for his love of life making creative phrases. For example, he often wrote a letter to his wife with great expression of love. Those are the reasons why Mozart was imaginative.
Abraham Lincoln who was the sixteenth president in the U.S.A. was a man with strong intention. He studied really hard even though he was in a difficult situation. For example, he passed the test and became a lawyer after studying alone without going to school . He never complained about his being poor. He was a good speaker with enthusiam. For instance, African American in the U.S.A. were so impressed and affected by his speech that his speech eventually made them think themselves differently and realize the meaning of fairness. He believed in justice and executed what he believed. For instance, he freed all the slaves in the south of the U.S.A. by abolishing the segregation policy. He made them be treated equally like white people and gave the country the great freedom. Those are the reasons why Abraham Lincoln had a strong will.
